As many of you know, I have had mitral valve issues for several years and I had experimental surgery a year ago to place a clamp on the valve. In addition, my husband, Peter had surgery for a brain tumor last year, which did not go as planned. He is home with some caregivers during the day, and this is going to end soon because the Blue Cross will run out. In the meantime, I have been fighting a so-called asthmatic virus in my lungs, but my doctor just called and said that I have an enlarged heart and fluid in my chest. I am going to have to leave work to go get an echocardiogram. If I am hospitalized, my husband will be alone. Please send healing to me so that I can take care of this problem without missing more work and being away overnight. I used up most of my sick days taking my husband for his radiation treatments.
