Yes, I appreciate where you're coming from. I'm beginning to see that, and as in all things, there's a transition period when the old gives way to the new. In my head, I can repeat the same kind of universal-acceptance type of sentiments which you have shared. My current lesson is to really get to a state where my heart also naturally feels such things. I suppose for that to happen, the scientist in me must die and the mystic, born. Death is always a frightful thing. But I suppose it is just another aspect of our experience. I look forward to the day when both can co-exist in perfect balance and harmony within me. More importantly, I look forward to the day when both can co-exist perfectly in society. Only then will we be able to truly move forward.

I think that we have covered a great deal and probably should now close this topic.
As a matter of interest I posted this question on a few forums other than LS and got loads of replies. Most interestingly none of them were the same!
Reality and Qi/ Energy seem to mean different things to different people as Gallen pointed out.

Yes. Reality is merely pure energy at a mostly condensed state in the form of matter. All atoms of the Universe affect every other atom all at once in some way. Align yourself with the Universe and you're energy frequency can affect all things around you.
