If you combine the Active Exercises of level one and two together with Nines Exercise and do all three together will you get good, better or best results. Then of corse do your Small Universe meditation later. Just want to come up with a way to get all of it done without it taking up my whole day. If I combine it I will be starting early morning then I will have most of the day left, then before bed I do the Self Concentration meditation. What do you think?

I reckon it will be pretty close to Best and a pretty good achievement - about 84 minutes of active exercises (very powerful - especially with the inclusion of the 9's exercise)and then an additional 24-28 minutes for small meditation and then before bed - another 24-28minutes self concentration - that's a very good day of it I would suggest - especially if you do it daily!

I like to double what I do in active with sitting or laying meditations - but I think what you're proposing is fantastic if you can keep at it.

Aloha Cleo,

Thank you for your question.

The Level II exercises are there to help your focus, healing technique, visualization, energy purification, and build the energy of your middle Dantain area.

Chunyi recommends doing the Level I exercises at the beginning for a while until you have made a shift in your physical well-being. This builds a strong foundation at the lower Dantain level before moving into Level II's middle Dantain work.

You'll always want to integrate the Small Universe mediation, whether you are in Level I or XXXVI - sorry, don't ask about Level XXXVI, If I told you I'd have to blank you memory afterwards

But seriously, once you've been at it for a while, you could integrate the Level II exercises, or replace the Level I exercise with them - coming back to them if you come down with a physical illness or are drawn to work with one or all of them (actually, the "7 Steps of New Life" is wonderful in developing your energy movement skills that can significantly assist your Level II healing practice).

It gets into what your focus is on. No need to throw in all the exercises and mediations he's taught in a day - there are more of them than there is day. Look at what you want/need for your own healing and developement. Doing well physically? Then lets start developing our healing skills and heart energy and focus on the Level II exercises and build up your Small Universe time to an hour.

Much Love, Shawn

Hi Shawn
Thanks for the direction that helps. With that in mind I'll change things up some, for some reason I thought you had to work up to doing everything! I still need Level 1 for my legs, but need Level 2 to help others. So I belive I'll do level 1 and small universe most of the time, then do level 2 a couple of times a week. I'll do the nines when I feel I need a little extra.
Thanks Again
Cleo
