Hi,
I'm new to all this, although it feels as if I've waited forever for this program to come along, and it is finally going to come together. I am very excited and ready to get started. My problem today, and question is my Mother-in-law lives next door to me, and she has advanced emphysema. She is 81 years old, and her energy number is 3. (Same as mine). I would love to help her. She has given me so much over the years, and I want her to be able to get some of her energy back. She has been declining ever since we moved her into her new home over 10 years ago. That was when she was first diagnosed.
My largest problem will be in convincing her that we need to move things in her house, and to unclutter things, and then to add new things to her space. I can't use oils or perfumes, because she is alergic to so many things and smells now. I just don't want to give up on her life, although everyone says she is about to die, and I need to get ready, I don't believe it. She has just stoped doing anything, and I feel that it has something to do with the Qi in her home. We built the house for her on 5 acres of land we bought and cleared, with a huge pond in the back yard.
Any thoughts?

Hi,
It might or might not be the Feng Shui, but here are a few things to look out for.
1. Is her main door a bad direction?
2. Is her bed facing a bad direction (particularly disease or total loss)?
3. Is the SW corner of her house missing/is there a toilet/store/garage there?
4. What sector is the pool in?
5. If you have the time Feng Shui part of the course, what 24 mountain direction is the house facing?

Thanks for the reply.
* It looks like her main door is in the NW corner of her house, which she faces from her couch. Her TV stand is on the same wall.
* Her bed board is on the east wall, same as one of the doors, the one she uses to enter, with a night stand between the bed and door. On the west wall is her french doors which look out at the 1/2 acre pond about 25 yards away. She keeps the blinds closed pretty much all the time now.
* Her laundry room is in the SW corner of the house.
Unfortunately, I don't yet have the time Feng Shui, but with just what you asked I can already see where most of the problems are. Now I need to know what I can do without moving the furniture to help her get some relief?

It is more important to determined the direction of the door, not the sector. Stand in the doorway facing out and take that direction. That is the qi that hits her each time she opens the door. For example, the door may be in the NW location but facing N or even W. If you can supply me with the exact reading, I'll run a quick check on the time Feng Shui for you.

I assume this means her headboard is facing east as well? Stand at the foot of the bed and measure the direction. Location is again not quite as important here.

Can you describe emphysema to me? It wouldn't be by any chance a problem relating to the head, lungs or breathing system, would it?

Nothing much we can do about this, short of keeping the door closed and decorating the area so that it looks like the room isn't there. Use mother images and earth/fire decorations here.

My main concern is the pond, frankly. Did your mother-in-law do particularly badly in 2005, 2001, and 1997? I need to check if the pond is affecting her. I definitely need the exact facing of the door degree to calculate the time Feng Shui to see if it is activating an adverse star.
For the moment, consider activating her health direction with the activation cards and the appropriate colours.

You hit it right on the head. Emphysema or COPD is the disease of the lungs. She smoked for over 45 years, and in November of 1996 she was first hospitalized with pneumonia and then diagnosed with emphysema where they explained she would only get worse. She is very stubborn though, and has fought to survive. She is now on Hospice, and still fighting.

Thanks for this. I closed the door, and you can't see the door unless you are in the kitchen. I will put a picture on the door.

She was first diagnosed in late 1996, so the so that first year was particullary bad as you can imagine. I will have to think about 2001, I think that was the year she went back into the hospital. We live in Gulfport Mississippi, and we went through Hurrican Katrina last August, so it was a bad year for anyone who lived here.
Again, THANK YOU!! I have talked to her this morning, and I am on my way to activate her Health direction now.

Okay, with Time Feng Shui, each direction is broken up into 3 directions. I take it her house falls between 337.5 degrees and 352.5, rather than the latter two sections of north i.e. 352.5 to 22.5 degrees. Please do check if you can, because this will affect my suggestion regarding the pond. As it is, I am pretty certain that the pond is a concern. For the moment, I can safely suggest the following:
1. Hang a six-rod hollow windchime in the west sector of the house, between the house and the pond.
2. Activate the west corner of the major rooms in the house as much as possible with earth elements (ceramics, earth tones, pottery etc).

I see. Well, the water in the west can be considered to be part of the problem. Of course, it could also be considered that she attracted the house to manifest the illness associated with her heaven luck. I can't really say much in terms of curing this until I know the door direction.

I did a cross-check with a different system. 2001 could have been neutralised because another energy mitigated it. This year is trickier, but the windchime will be a good first step in that direction.

Actually when I did the reading it falls between the latter i.e. 352.5 to 22.5. Tomorrow I will buy the wind chime and hang it on the end of her patio outside the bedroom.

By this do you mean the nightstand? I will put a small tablecloth on it tomorrow also.

Good. That means that we don't have to worry about the pond as much. The windchime is all that is needed.

I mean, when you stand in her front doorway, do you notice any sharp edges from buildings, dead trees, ugly structures, T junctions etc. pointing towards it? These can affect one's health too.

We live in the country, there is an unfinished house accross the street, however it is a good distance away. The trees on the next property have fallen and broken limbs still from the storm, however, they too are a distance away, and that is what you see from the front door, since it faces that way. Should I get a windchime for the front door too?
