I wasn't sure where else to put this, so I'm going to put it here.
I've gotten a few paraliminal tapes and have enjoyed them and have seen improvement (memory supercharger and personal genius and have just ordered Instantaneous Personal Magnetism). Also, due to emails from Learning Strategies, I'm planning on getting on board with the holosync stuff from centerpointe. I wanted to know if learning strategies has done any research or is planning on offering any paraliminal tapes that have something similar to a holosync program running in the background of the paraliminal tape? Do you think it would make a difference for the better? Worse? I'm thinking of experimenting with the idea of combining the two for personal use, but I wanted to get some feedback before I try. Thanks.

Basically the paraliminals work just fine without entrainment. In fact your mind goes to the most appropriate level by itself when using paraliminals and this can be different for each session.

Because they don't already have entrainment embedded in them you can combine them with your own as many have already done. So you get as many varieties as there are individuals experiementing with them.

From time to time I personally use the paraliminals with a Light and Sound device and other times just the tape alone does the trick.

Thanks for replying. My thoughts are as such. I'm not so much interested in the level you are going to by use of holosync or paraliminal, I'm thinking more along the line of this: If the holosync is actively building new neural connections, could the paraliminal information be more firmly encoded in the new neural connections formed by holosync. From what I've read, it seems the holosync takes a more active roll in the formation of neural pathways, while paraliminal tapes seem more along the line of changing how your subconcious mind functions, which does change neural pathways, but it doesn't seem to be the primary goal of paraliminals.

Active use of your mind creates neural pathways. If you keep doing the same thing over and over no new neural pathways are created. You have to challenge your mind to create new neural pathways. That's why people who challenge their mind with puzzles, crosswords and brain teasers are often mentally active well into old age.

Passive activities like watching TV does not create new neural pathways to any great extent.

If you want to create new neural pathways you have to use different tools and techniques if you do the same thing over and over you create 'ruts' in your neural pathways.

Personally I do not use holosync and for some reason I cannot even give it away. I have used hemisync and voyager and personally like them a lot better. However for paraliminals I still prefer just the sound and light machine or straigh paraliminals.
