Side A is for general limitations and negative feelings you have about the past.

What do you think about your past? When you think about wanting to do something what feelings come up from the past? If you find yourself saying something like 'everytime I sat for a test I failed', how does that make you feel?

Basically when you find yourself saying, 'I can't because ... always happened whenever I tried that.' You're voicing a negative feeling or limitation from the past. You find them by noticing what you say to yourself when you attempt to forge ahead toward something that you want to attain.

When they say "then think how you want to feel" it means exactly that, how do you want to feel in the now and in the future. It could be relief, contentment, powerful. Since the New History Generator helps you to create a new history the past isn't going to be an issue, so how would you like to feel if the past isn't an issue anymore?

You can identify the negative belief about the future and any past events that may be influencing that belief.

quote:
If there is more then one emotion of negativity associated with a happening from the past, do you have to do seperate sessions for each emotion?

Maybe yes and maybe no. Every event in a persons live can have many emotions attached to it. Sometimes using a paraliminal tape takes care of them all in one hit other times you find that you may have to listen more than once. If you already know there are a number of emotions attached to the event be aware of them when you start to use the paraliminal. Rather than consciously trying to priorities which one to deal with let the inner mind handle the event as a whole. After an inital listening session just notice the changes in the feeling and then decide if you want to make more adjustment.

You might find that as you use paraliminals you discover how to frame your thoughts most effectively for fast results. Because the changes can seem son natural it might be wise to keep a journal of when you used the paraliminal, which one, and what your goal was. That is probably most important, knowing what outcome you really want, even if you can only vaguely form the answers to the question as long as you know what outcome you want you'll find it easier to get results.
