In so much as I would say everything is related I would say yes. In that SFQ is setting up better energy flows within you I'd say maybe. In respect to what you can expect in the long term from SFQ I would say no.
It may be a transition effect of SFQ practice it may just be the time of year. It may be the alignment of solar and lunar cycles ( I just notice it's was a new moon yesterday and winter solstice today (I don't know how well the aligned)). If it's any consolation my sleep has been disruptive for weeks, but I'm setting up new energy patterns and drawing in new energy as well.
Back to the subject, it is known that meditation can replace sleep at better than 1 to 1 ratio. I've noticed in the past that when I was doing a fair bit of regular and relatively deep meditation I didn't need sleep. I went for a long time with six or less hours of sleep, with complete rest (no short changing).
I'm sure that your SFQ is setting up a healthier pattern within you and you will return to a steady and appropriate sleep pattern for you.
You are perfection.
