Hi

Nice to meet everyone.

I am a number 5 male. My best direction for success is North East and I had previously (before ordering the diamond feng shui course) placed a small bamboo plant in a small pot of water in North East direction. (that was after reading a book on feng shui) I also have a small bottle of water and a glass in that the North East corner (on top of a small table).

It is mentioned not to have water and live plants in the bed room because it will be "too emotional".

So my question is whether it is really so bad to have water and live plants in the bedroom that I should remove it (can I keep it if I dont feel anything emotional or bad).

Second question is; it is recommended to place candles in the success direction.
Is is OK to light the candles as well. ?

Thanks for any response

Hi

Water: You don't have it in large quantities and it isn't moving, so it is unlikely to impact the quality of your sleep. I'd say no problem. Live plants is more an oxygen thing, but in the case of bamboo, I'd be less concerned.

Candles: Sure, you can light them to illuminate your success direction, particularly since it is NE, which is earth-based.

Kaye,
If my success direction is East, would it be advisable to light candles in that direction? Since wood is the element for East, would that diminish my success? (Since fire burns/diminishes wood)

I remember Marie saying that because fire produces/enhances earth, it is OK to burn candles in the NE, C, and SW, and also in the S which is the direction of fire.

Thanks

By and large, no you don't want to light them. However, it is all a matter of energy flow. If you have a rather strongly activated East sector, a small flame isn't going to burn it all up.
