Hi,

I received an e-mail about this software which flashes subliminal affirmations on your computer screen called subliminal power at http://www.subliminal-power.com/mind/

I've come across plenty of posts on this forum about subliminal audio but not about text subliminal messages. It looks intriguing cause you can even program your own set of affirmations and you can choose from many different programs.

Has anyone any experience with this software or anything similar?

The creator even claims in his FAQ that he's working with Learning Strategies on a new Photoreading software. That legit?

Thanks

Hi freako,

I've used the Subliminal software for abundance for 40 days on my pc screen. I was using my pc at least 3 hrs a day but absolutely no results. I even emailed the support team asking this:

"A last, but VERY IMPORTANT question: our subconsious is a computer hard drive. You download the software programs from the outside when you were a child (parents and so on). With Subliminal Power I ADD positive subliminal messages to my subconscious but how do I CANCEL the old ones?
If I download new software programs in my hard drive I need to cancel my old programs - if not, I get my pc overloaded and I get two different conflictual messages....

.
Their answer was:
"Dear -----,

Thanks for your message. Great to hear from you again!

Good question However, as you begin to guide your subconscious mind with the positive affirmations, the old (negative) thoughts etc will automatically begin to fade out. So, yes your subconscious mind is something like a computer hard drive; however IT takes care of it's own maintenance, getting rid of old "software" that is no longer needed. :-)

I wasn't satisfied with the response, so here's the next answer:

"The old ones are simply "forgotten" let's say I'm afraid I don't have any website or scientific explanation for this, however research has been made about this when creating the software."

In my opinion, the software is marketed in a very superficial way - maybe it works, maybe not - for me it surely didn't. I believe you first have to clear out old subconscious patterns using for example energy techniqes like EFT or Sedona, and only then you may imprint new beliefs, etc.

Hope this helps.

New programming is like putting fresh water into a bucket of dirty water, drop by drop. It takes a while more than 30 days of subliminal messaging to clear that bucket. I recommend to that you do something like read the list of affirmations consciously daily if you want to speed up the process. Make sure the affirmations are present tense. I've seen some of their list and would delete a few that I cannot agree with because they are too far beyond my current belief. I've noticed too it's possible to run two sets of affirmations at random. Watch for conflicting ideas.

Change is always gradual. You'll not consciously notice anything because no choir starts signing hallelujah once you got it. The world just moves onto the next project at hand.

I haven't used this software, but I used something VERY similar a few years ago. I did notice some results over a VERY LONG period of time (about 6 months) which could just as easily be attributed to constantly editing the affirmations - Which made me read over them and review them often.

From my experience I would suggest, if you use this software, to do the affirmations in "building blocks".
For example, say you wanted to work on feeling more confident dancing.

Start off with general beliefs necessary to start the process, for example:
- "I feel comfortable in nightclubs"
- "I trust my body"
- "I'm feeling more free and relaxed"

Focus on things such as that for a while then move onto more specific ones such as:
- "I'm enjoying dancing"
- "I enjoy people watching me dance"

It's a silly example, but I hope you get the idea.

In all honesty, though, I found the (older) software to sometimes mess up the images on my monitor and if I were trying to get results again, I would focus more on stuff like the Belief paraliminal or the NBG.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the response. I've started using the software myself and I can't really tell if anything is working but Alex does make sense in saying that change is gradual, and I might also add lasting change is gradual.

All the times in the past when I forced myself to make massive changes everything just seems to fall back to my old way of doing things. My strategy is just to consciously do things a little bit differently every day in the direction of my goals while the software and the paraliminals does what it does on the other than conscious part.

I've used Sedona to clear beliefs and found it a powerful emotional clearing tool. Hale Dwoskin is against the idea of affirmations or any kind of programming because he believes (according to a conference call) it will "undo the Method."

I am of the opinion however that programming is happening all around us all the time so I feel some form of "positive programming" is necessary to support the attainment of any goals and to keep our minds focus.

I personally don't care for the bundled affirmations provided and crafted my own or imported them from other sources. I got a copy of 'Permission to Succeed' by Noah St John, after reading about it on one of the posts on this forum and am wondering how "Afformations" will work subliminally so I'm gonna try that soon and let you know how its working for me.

Hi,

I too agree that transformation of core beliefs needs a lot of time and the changes are subtle. However the way that they sell the software isn't honest as they state that in 30 days you can feel the difference (at least this was quoted at the time I bought the product). They also didn't tell me about the image disturbances on my windows pc display. Things like this can tell a lot about their ideals and seriousness of a company or of a person taht stands behind the product or service - selling is more important than being straight forward and honest. Hypnotic marketing is more powerful, effective and easier than using a person's Heart. Anyway, this was some time ago...

Personally I found much more effective and satisfying while listening to the second part of the Holosync CD (when you are in a delta brain wave state - direct access to the subconscious) visualizing and mentally stating my new beliefs and dreams. I also combined it with the excellent ebook of Carol Look "Attracting Abundance with EFT" - http://www.carollook.com/

All the best
