I am wondering what the best place is to display photos of deceased loved ones. I have a photo of my mother-in-law that I like to display (we were very close) and also one of a very good friend. I have the photo of the good friend in the spiritual direction (NE) in my home office because I am finishing off a joint project that we worked on and I'm calling on him for some heavenly luck. This feels right to me but is it appropriate?
The photo of my mother-in-law is in the living room near where my husband sits in the evening, in the NW of the room which is in the SW sector of the house. For many years the photo was in the hutch in the kitchen which is a piece of furniture that was given to me after she died. I'd like to place her photo in the best spot in the house, so I'm open to suggestions. And our faithful old dog was put to sleep just a few days ago. My favourite photo of her is one taken 14 years ago, when she was just a pup. She deserves a place of honour.
