I've got the Spanish and the German course, but haven't used the one in German that much.

I've read German in school for some years so I understood the recordings - I'll mostly use that course to refresh my German.

The Spanish course was really good, Spanish was new for me and it was a little strange noticing how quickly you picked up all the new words. The tapes are short but at a fast pace so it's not as boring as "normal" language learning.

There's no focus on grammatics or spelling though but for the Spanish course that shouldn't be a big problem, you spell the Spanish words as they sound in most instances and the grammatics doesn't seem that difficult. Everything said on the tapes is in the text book so you can always PhotoRead that and a Spanish/English dictionary for added benefits.
