I've read McTaggart's book The Field and found it to be a fascinating read. It focuses primarily on psychic phenomena (remote viewing, ESP, etc.) as related to the zero-point field and other theories of quantum physics. I enjoyed it quite a lot.
I also found Ervin Laszlo's Science and the Re-Enchantment of the Cosmos and Haisch's The God Theory to be eye-opening, too, in the same way as McTaggart's book. I recommend all three if you're looking for books that attempt to tie science and spirituality together. They all focus on the zero-point field as a possible explanation for paranormal and spiritual phenomena.
