Thanks Unis and Ruth,
There are so many things to choose from even when it comes to guilt. I feel a bit like a hungry kid in a dazzling candy shop when it comes to learning strategies.com, having eyes bigger than my stomach, spinning around and afraid to make a less than perfect choice.

However, I guess from the perspective of getting first things first, there is little point in trying to focus on career goals as well, when one is carrying around lots of guilt and shame and there is also a lot of anger as well for things that have happened in many cases 5-8 years ago. Forgiving oneself and others is perhaps getting first things first and may help other career type goals which I have struggle so far to get clarity on? any feedback on this is appreciated

If anything my past work with the parraliminals etc on career may be bringing the guilt shame more to the surface of late.

Its just i am impatient when not working on new things or things I can see directly on building a career and nervous of getting lost in prior steps, I was hoping the guilt would somehow go away without any work, and i would lose no time by ploughing on with career goals and aspirations, but I have achieved no clarity in the career area up to the present reflected in underemployment and often felt much fatigued.

thank you all again for your time and suggestions
