You are most welcome as far as the response is concerned and I am happy that it was of some value to you. IMHO, it is normal that the blurred vision continues for few seconds after you have been in Photofocus for some minutes. This is same as when you enter a dark room(a movie theatre) from a brightly-lit environment. Your eyes need time to adjust.
However, as I am not an eye specialist, I can't say whether lasting of this effect for 30 seconds is normal or not. Also, I am not informed enough to answer your other two questions. Maybe Raleigh199 or Alex would like to do the honours, so lets wait for a response from them.
