Hi Richards

To be honest, I have not purchased this course. However, I have read the book Natural Brilliance written by Paul Scheele as this book shipped along with my PhotoReading Deluxe course. So I will try to answer your question based on my understanding of the Natural Brilliance Model after reading the book.

Since you have already purchased the course, please forgive me if I disappoint you in anyway; I am only being honest here within the limits of my understanding. The course is designed to get you out of stuck states or more appropriately Paradoxical states. As Paul says
Quote:

On the one hand I want X, but at the same time, on the other hand, I want Y

More specifically, in your case lets say you want to have natural genius towards Maths, but you don't like to practice maths; or you want to play violin like an expert, but you hate practicing it for two hours everyday. If these are the situations you are experiencing I believe Natural Brilliance course is for you and it will definitely help you out.

On the other hand if you are looking for creative insights or let say your situation sound like "I would like to develop Natural genius towards Maths and I am also practicing maths but still progress is very slow or very little". Then, IMHO, Natural brilliance won't help you that much and I would suggest you to go check out the Genius Code course as that will be more appropriate in your situation.

Further the premise behind suggesting that initially you use the course with only one stuck state is not to bog you down with too much to handle. As your understanding of the model in the beginning is not complete it helps to focus on just one state and you notice the results better. You are also able to relate to the feedback which you receive. However if you understand the model completely and you feel that you understand what action items you have to implement at each step, then feel free to apply it to more than one stuck state. The bottom line is to go easy on yourself, and enjoy the journey (process).

I hope I have been of some help to you.

God bless you.

Kind regards

The book doesn't really compare with the course. The course teaches you how to apply Natural Brilliance. The book elaborates on the process. It's much easier to learn Natural Brilliance with the course without getting your mind clotted with the book. I found Natural Brilliance rather unusual in that I didn't think it was working and yet it changed my life. Thanks to that course I challenged myself to go beyond my stop sign without even realising it. I had done the course some months before.

Also the Natural Brilliance principle underlies all the Learning Strategies courses. You learn each course using the Natural Brilliance approach. You'll probably find it easier to get beyond the stop signs and see how Genius Code is working once you've done the Natural Brilliance course.

Hi Alex,

So if I understand your message above, the Natural Brilliance course would actually help in all LSC courses and would be an excellent course to start with if you are new to LSC courses or are having troubles getting results from other LSC courses? I know I have some issues blocking me and haven't gotten the results I had hoped for from the Paraliminal Library or from Memory Optimizer. I am currently thinking that maybe Natural Brilliance will be helpful in unblocking me and help me get better results from these other courses.

I am enjoying the course. My biggest problem with a lot of the paraliminals is my own: I have ADD and I have trouble choosing just one problem, issue etc. It does not help much for me (or someone else) to say, "just pick one".

What DOES help is the promise of being able to go back and do "multiple passes" on each issue or stuck state.

I still am having problems doing a completed work sheet.

I have listened to the entire coure one time and I am getting a lot out of the information. I have also done a few of the paraliminals that come with the course (at the end of each CD or Side B after "tape" or CD 1). I think it helping, but I really have a block (or stuck state) when it comes to setting the intentions for this and other paraliminals.

I willl log in with progress as it happens and I experience it.

Wow!

I really do appreciate all of your suggestions and ideas! I believe before I had the wrong idea towards what the program was really about. I know now that my purpose was wrong, I will apply the course towards either math or my general studies. How does this sound.. "My purpose is to become unstuck within studying for school, I will study hard when I need to..in order to do well" or since I need to continue my education within math (calculus).. "My purpose is to enjoy practicing math rather then disregarding it". My purposes probably needs a little work so I would appreciate any suggestions towards building a purpose. Thanks!!

PapaShark, Natural Brilliance course will help you do what it takes to move beyond stop signs. Learning Strategies courses are built on that principle you'll find that Paul is asking you at various points to consider what your next step will be, because ultimately it's up to you to take action. The courses explain what you need to do but cannot make you do them. Using the Natural Brilliance principle Paul naturally builds in a now it's your turn to stop think and do.

Some people do not progress through the course or they try to rush too much and don't actually stop. I guess understanding the way Natural Brilliance works and incorporating it into your life makes it easier to apply yourself to all courses not just Learning Strategies ones. Natural Brilliance encourages you to look for the gains you stand to make by going ahead and doing whatever it is you need to do.. And you notice that all Learning Strategies courses and Paraliminals ask you to consider right at the start... What do you want or hope to get from this course or this time you're spending with the course. You may not always get all of what you want but people who move beyond their personal stop signs always get something better than what they had.

Thank you Alex. Your response to PapaShark really helps me with NB.

I will probably either print it out or come back and read it from time to time.

hi all,

Just wondered if anyone has any examples of how NB helped them. I am listening to it now and hope to find direction for my life purpose/work... Anyhow, it will be good to hear some examples or tips. I'm not quite sure how to go about what I am trying to accomplish or how to quite define it...

thanks,

So if I have a dilemma such as I want to study for a PhD degree but I do not want to be poor like your average student this course can help?
