Help! I bought a condo about 7 years ago which has unfortunately turned out to be a very bad real estate investment (as in property is worth less than I paid for it) due to several unfortunate circumstances. For the long suffering homeowners, the negative energy enveloping the community is palpable. I was finally able to put the condo on the market 8 months ago. In that time, I've gotten positive feedback and about 5 people who have told my realtor that they were thinking about making an offer, however, there's been no followthrough. I need to get this place sold and SOON for financial and personal growth reasons but have become so discouraged, at times bitter and worried about the money going out each month for this place (it is currently vacant) that I am sure I am repelling a buyer.
