Hi . Many years ago (30+) my brother had a self development program which I think had 12 casette tapes. Unfortuntly my brother has passed away and I don't remember the name of the program.

One of the tapes within the program was a guided meditation tape and is what I am looking for. I think I can describe it pretty clearly here and hopethat someone knows what I am talking about or can recommend an alterative.

The tape had a male narrator guiding with music in the background. It starts with you are at the top of a staircase which he instructs you to descend stopping you every 3 steps with instructions (don't remember anything about the insructions). There are 7 stops and thus 21 steps.

Now that you are at the bottom of the staircase you are instructed that you see a tunnel which you will go through. As you do you see different colors which I believe reflect the 7 chakras. You first see the colors and then they surround you one at a time. Again the narrator is speaking you through this.

After comng out of the tunnel you are at a bridge which you cross and come to a door of your studio. You are instructed to open the door and go inside where you see a comfortable easy chair with a large screen in front of it. You sit down in the chair and project your goals and desires up onto the screen. Again the narrator has additional things to say as you sit there and project.

After a little bit you are instructed to get up and leave, cross the bridge, go througn the tunnel (one color at a time - reverse order) go up the steps with stops at every 3 steps which is like coming out of hypnosis, and finally complete at the top of the staircase where you open your eyes.

The entire journey takes 20 minutes.

Anyone know what this tape is or something that might replace it? Really could use your help. Thanks

Any luck with Nightingale? They were a company that has been producing audio courses longest.

Sounds like Burt Goldman of Silva Mind Control.
He may still be around (one of the originals)

Lots of folks "made their own" tapes as well.
I know I was in a group with my wife and friends.
We used to record the sessions and play them back.

Check Dick Sutphen's material The pattern sounds like something he might use.

I'm familiar with Bert's work and he followed the Silva Method for entering your level. That's a break away technique I know someone used in a copy version of the Silva Method, It's described in Jess Sterns book but I don't know if that person made any recordings and I cannot remember the name of the instructor.

Sounds like that information is before Kelly Howell's time, but she has several meditation CDs.

Yeah, I'd guess Dick Sutphen too, although I have a few of his courses and it I don't recognise those specific images.

Dick Sutphen has a lovely, soothing voice, so his recordings are always very nice.
