Thank you everyone.

I have thought about this and I am now going to try the following

Getting things done Side A in the morning before work
Peak performance during my lunch break

Both of these focussed on having lots of my next actions ticked at the end of the day.

Over the last few days I have been using New History Generator side B before bed. This has helped a lot. One of the reasons that I have not achieved all I could in the past is that I tend to switch off the consequences of what I am/am not doing. Eg not thinking about the consequence of eating sweets or not thinking about the consequence of leaving a report until the last minute. Since using NHG Side B several times now I have thought to myself "if I get on and do .... then I can review it tonight and it will feel good". This is a significant improvement for me.

I'll report back in a few days as to how I am getting on.

Regards

If you get a chance Helen let us know how you progress on these issues

I struggle with similar issues too and read your thread with much interest

Unlike you I am far less disciplined in planning which parraliminals to use, I tend to go with what feels best or seems most interesting at the moment when I get the chance to listen to a parraliminal. but I have been using the self esteem supercharger daily since your suggestion on a family relationship issue

I have been using get around to it a bit of late side B with a single larger task outcome and some success with this.... but now with lots of little nagging unconnected tasks on my to do list consider using it to picture myself in the evening rewarding myself at a local cafe I like, and toasting myself for ticking off a lot of those little nagging tasks that build up while trying to knock off the big ones .... hope it works for it is amazing how much stress this undone stuff can bring

best wishes

Amen to all of the below! Especially the comment about the amount of stress that my undone stuff brings.

But I do use the Paraliminals to help me and they seem to.

Helen,

for my goal for the Get Around To It Paraliminal I would simply have my goal of having everything on my work checklist that must be done today done.

I'm a motoviated & enthuastiac person!
The new strengths that come from this...
work ethic, profitable business, helping protect
familes, building financial empires for familes
and indivuials. This will keep my mind, body &
soul clean & healthy, which in turn spills into
my living & working spaces. Now that I'm motivated
I'll follow every action that leads to my dreams
with enthusiam & courage!

Too much, too long to get my head around. Simply! A listening session,
I'm enthusiastic, and motivated... I enjoy sticking to my eating plan for better health everyday.

I'm enthusiastic, and motivated and so my business is growing by 5% each month.

I'm enthusiastic, and motivated. I meditate (or go to church, work on self growth... once a day, 3 times a week, 90 minutes a week)

Rather than lumping into one imperfect, vague grouping of words. Make each listening session for one goal and use the overall theme that you were trying to incorporate with that goal statement.

See how you go with that

I was doing OK using the advice given (thanks everyone) and then, as often happens, as soon as things start to go well I hit an almost phyisical barrier, so that every time I thought about using a paraliminal I found some very good reason not to.

I then decided to use NBG with the goal of always using the paraliminals when I have planned to do it. This seems to be working now, but it is early days (4 days - usually 5 or 6 is when I start to feel resistance).

I did think about anxiety free - but I am not feeling any obvious anxiety - just a deep resistance.

Does anyone think that there is a better solution?

Hi everyone.

Things are going well at the moment. I have made a couple of changes. I don't do the New Hisotry Generator in bed anymore. I was finding that I was going to sleep and not reviewing the day consciously, so not getting the chance to learn from it.

I therefore do NHG before bed, get ready for bed and then use Self Esteem Supercharger or Anxiety free to go to sleep.

I am still using NBG during the day on 2 specific goals as suggested above, and I use others occasionally as needed (eg peak performance)

Can anyone suggest how I will know when it is safe to move on from the current NGB goals to the next ones please?

Regards

Helen.

After a week you should be able to move on for sure. Remember you can come back to it with a new goal or revise the goal if you have to come back to it. Most Paraliminals you only need to use 1 to 3 days.
