Hi all,

Last week it happened. I have ordered and received my AFL course. Last year some time it dawned me I will do it asome time even thoughit costs quite a lot and I have even to pay taxes for it. Since the taxes were unavoidable, I ordered Sonic A and Easylern languages also ;-)

I will probably star with the SA course first, so it will take some time before I start AFL. But I'm anticipating the time when I come back to this thread and report my success!

p.s. BTW it's funny, now I remember why I decided that I will order AFL last year.. there was some discussion concerning the basic presumption of AFL.... And someone was opposing the course strongly. that made me really think and the conclusion was, I will order the course some time in the future. Just didin't know when. I even wrote my decision on the thread, I think even twice ;-) ;-)

Hi all,

A question: Is it OK if I manage to come up with only 5 choices in the 7step process? At first I was sure of only one. Now I have 5. I know there are more to come, but right now I simply cannot formulate them in words.

Also I'm stuck with step 3 in 7 step process. I don't understand how I'm supposed to change the limiting beliefs into supporting beliefs. There are no examples either.

It is a common thought that your conscious mind can only remember 7 things at one time. Some people can handle less and some can handle more maybe a max of 9. I think that this is the reason for 7 choices. And you can focus on less 1 is OK. And you can modify your choices as you evolve. Add remove or change it is all yours in the making of your life.

Step 3 Acceptance. This procedure is the beginning of an awakening process. That is because we are actors of our beliefs. And we manifest that thought or outcome even if the process is non conscious. As an example look at the neighbour hood you live in. And observe families raising children. Look at the common patterns of family systems. Maybe you will hear a parent telling a child that he/she is stupid and the child after a while believes this thought. And yet the parent also has this thought for themself passed on from his or her parents. Now today this parent wants a better live and makes a choice to become a computer programmer. And wants this very much but they learn that extra schooling is required. Instantly a very loud little voice stops the process dead ( I am stupid I can never learn anything, this will be to difficult I guess I can't do anything better than this 7 to 11 store.) That belief is a self fulfilling prophecy.
And when you encounter such thought write it down and thank it for showing up in your life and celebrate what it has done for you.( It may have kept you safe) Then you can take this and subject it to inquiry and find the truth about it in this case it was a lie. And you can now replace it with the truth. I have intellegence like the rest of the people on the planet, actually I love to learn.
With the process comes feelings up they pop and when you get one hold on to it if you can, and jump for joy thank that feeling for showing you your power and thank yourself for feeling that feeling. I call this process my medicine bag and by going inside this bag I heal in fantastic ways.

Hi Kevin!

Yes, I thought less than 7 would be OK. Just wanted somone else's opinion. Thanks.

About step 3, acceptance. What I would like to have, is concrete directions. How to do it exactly? Are you referring to the inquiry process in your reply? If so, I could try it.

One is enough. You do the 7-steps on one goal at a time anyway. If you have more than one goal you need to further prioritise what you are going to work on first.

Clear Mind Bright Future gets you to pull up heaps of goals and then select 3 from from 3 areas of life ultimately reducing to one from each and then gets you started on a plan of action on at least one for the next 30-days.

Thanks Alex.

What about my second question? Step 3 in 7 step process? Do you have anything to comment on that?

The fullest answer is on page 25 and 26 of the manual. Follow the steps given.

Hi Alex,

My original question concerned the description in the manual. See, it's not clear enough for me. How exactly am I supposed to change teh limiting beliefs into supporting beliefs? The manual does not explain or give examples.

Use the Inquiry Process from the earlier part of the course to work through your beliefs and especially any emotions attached to those beliefs. If there are no emotions attached it's straightforward to accept the opposite belief or any that supports you. If you can't do that you have an emotional attachment to the belief that needs either the Feeling Exercise or mindful sorting with the Inquiry Process.
