Hi All,
Would be interested in getting others thought on this.
I have been using the Paraliminals for ages and I've recently got the Sonic Access set too.
I find though that no matter how alert I am, I literally knock off 2 to 3 minutes into the Paraliminal.
VERY rarely am I concious throughout the whole paraliminal.
The thing is I am instantly awake and sometimes also very alert at the end of the it. i.e normally wake up when he's counting you up.
(with the sonic access, I wake up just before the song at the end of the paraliminal and it really is quite estatic)

This happend with all Paraliminals I use!

Having studied Hypnosis some, I am aware that subjects sometimes go into deep trance and don't remember much of a session.
Can I assume this is the same?

I would say definitely yes! You are one of the lucky ones who can go into a deep relaxation during the paraliminals. You can consider yourself very fortunate!

I use the Paraliminals mostly when I go to sleep at night. I fall asleep on them. I do not use the energizing ones (eg Get Around to It), since I don't like to get up in the night all hyped up.

This doesn't happen to me on the regular paraliminals. It does however seem to happen often using Sonic Access. The first few listens knocked me out cold within a few minutes, but I awoke during the dorky ending music.

And I thought perhaps it was just me thinking it was "dorky" - I've actually found it to be a bit of a problem for me as it is just way too reminescent of "gospel style music" (which I immensely detest) for my tastes - I generally am awake and turn off the CD at that point.

LOL, Unis--I love gospel music, but what they're playing at the end of these doesn't resemble it much! (But maybe we're talking about different types of gospel music: I prefer the old-time, almost bluegrass type of gospel music, plus the music I used to hear in New Orleans churches years ago.) I love SA, but the music at the end--not so much.

Ha that's great! I'm also glad I am not the only one who thinks this. I've found it to be a problem for me as well, as the music seems to grate on me worse than any other music I've listened to in a long time. The closest comparison I can think of for this stuff is 80's montage music! Well, I like SA so I guess I can forgive that ONE thing.

I don't mind the music, but am delighted that I'm not the only person who zones out during the Sonic Access paraliminals!

I've started to see if I can be more awake and aware through them by listening to them while walking... or doing needlework.

If it's any comfort, the exact same thing (right down to the waking up on the countdown) happens to me when I listen to the Prosperity paraliminal. I never thought too much of it, as for one, I know certain levels of brain activity are still in operation even if I am dozing off, trancing out, spacing out, or whatever. Second, I'm noting some subtle (positive) shifts in my thinking and responding to things, so I figure something must be sinking in! MH
