Good post, Oxy. I love reading these kinds of stories. My OTC tends to work in a similar way, but more playful. One day at a bookstore I was just browsing the books, not looking for anything in particular, just seeing what was there. Out of the blue (I wasn't touching any of the books) one of them fell out and hit my toe (I was wearing sandals). At the time, the title didn't mean much to me, but I was curious, so I bought it. Within a few months, I discovered its real value, and its been a book I've used so much that its been replaced several times when the pages started falling out! The last one--I took the pages out myself, and encased them in plastic page protectors in a notebook.

Funny, my OTC knew I would need it even before the event occurred that would make such a book so very helpful (or I would say, indispensable).
