As the topic up there, I am a 17-yr-old guy with an S-shaped scoliosis(bent spine).

Despite having scoliosis, I have never hate my body.I was an active young boy until i found out having scoliosis. After that, i had a period of time feeling depressed , but it doesn't discourage me from continuing living.

I know it is abnormal that I have back pain(most patients don't), so i tried self-hypnosis, auto-suggestion, affirmations and stuffs like these trying to stop the pain, they do not serve obvious improvement as expected, yet not really disappointing as I can control the pain up to only certain limit. I understand that those techniques are only self-deception and is unable to heal the whole body system completely.

Here is a question, Master Chunyi Lin stated that we must have our spine straight in order to open the channels on our spine. How am i going to get my spine straight? Is it okay to just let it erect naturally?also, when imagining transparent empty column in the spine, should I imagine a straight one or imagine a column as the shape of my spine's curve?

Any suggestions or helpful and positive pms are appreciated

Aloha blinker4ever,

Good questions. You always visualize and feel the body, channels, etc. as perfectly healed. So in the SSelf Consenctration exercise you see/feel the spine becoming straighter, longer, straighter, longer, and completely straight.

The collumn of light can be as narrow as a pencil, as wide as your torso, or whatever you choose to visualize. The collumn isn't dependant on your skeletal structure - it's just a beautiful collumn of light from the bottom of your torso, to the top of your head.

Much Love,

Shawn

Thanks Shawn

I am going to try your suggestion on my next routine.Hopefully, I can see the result by next few weeks.

Will report it as I see new improvements.
