Having had a similiar experience with Psychics I know that it is much easier for them to read others than take the time to read themselves. I think this is also an indication of their energy level. Looking inside one's self takes alot more energy than looking outside oneself.
If you consider that energy from several psychics can bother you, it might but only because you believe it to be so. You might treat it as "extra energy" and either find a use for it or send it back to the Universe.
As Master Lin and many of his students do long distance healings I would say that most anyone has a capability to do something long distance such as "reading you". Although the energy level of the person doing it would determine how effective it is.
For some reason I always think of Sharks when it comes this type of thing. When sharks are out in open water they know who the biggest one is without seeing it and know exactly where it is. When it comes into their area all the other sharks give up their territory until the big boy has moved on.
How they know this could be compared to intuition or psychic awareness. It was said something similiar about Qigong Masters or Native Medicine Men or Kahuna's when another of their type stepped into their territory without permission, they knew instantly. Usually it signalled a challenge.
I would say that yes, level 2 is a start to developing the intuition and psychic side of things. The more you work with it the more results you would probably experience. I think that Master Lin makes this alot simplier than it might appear on the surface. As we are all energy beings then we are not limited except as to our own considerations. Shawn can probably explain this better.
If you are experiencing some upheaval with the execises maybe you could try doing the Small Universe Meditation for a few months and see if most all of that would clear up for you.
