Hi guys! I'm a newb to the forum and the world of paraliminals.

First, let me say WOW! To make a long story short, I started out with Get Around To It, Peak Performance, and New Behavior Generator CD's around 3 weeks ago, to deal with a number of issues relating to...and as a result of...doing nothing more than just "maintaining" for the past year.

I've experimented with variations of listening, some of which I have found here in the forum. I didn't notice much at first, other than enjoying the relaxing experience, but now...3 weeks later, I have a barrage of thoughts, ideas, projects..along with the motivation to DO THEM ALL NOW...resulting in frustration, and sense of extreme indecision. Not quite the effect I was shooting for here.

The point is...with so many things suffering from neglect, and now demanding immediate attention, combined with my increased motivation and energy, I end up with the same result.....Not knowing where to start! Or, if I decide where to focus my attention, I find my thoughts drifiting off to the other issues that I had planned to address another time.

Prior to the pariliminals, my priority list method involved putting out the largest fire first, and so on.....Now, they're all blazing away. I need some major channeling assistance here!

Please advise...

BTW...for those still wondering. THEY WORK!

No worries....I answered my own questions. Isn't that always the way?

Take care all!

Just for future reference, however, isn't this forum part of the "support" described in materials I purchased, or am I in the wrong place?

Thanks again!

Glad you found your answers.

As for the purpose of the board, yes, that's the purpose, but I doubt that the staff works 24/7, and the other posts you see here are just folks who also use these products. Sometimes someone has a great answer to a question, and sometimes we're stumped, too.

Which makes me also wonder: what answers did you find? I'd be interested to know, too.

I agree with Jeanne: pleas share what you found--I have this same problem!

Thank you for the responses!

Well, things are starting to fall into place. I went back and spent more time with the NBG-A, and focused on establishing an organizational approach. Sort of like working a puzzle, and focusing on one area as the "right" pieces appear, then focusing on another in the same manner. This allowed me to make progress in more than one area at a time without the frustration of needing to do it all at once, or just focusing on one thing at the expense of another.

It required that I allow some pieces to wait until there was a fit...in other words...an exercise in "letting go." In doing that, I discovered a sense of freedom I haven't felt in a very long time.

I sometimes use NHG-B to review my day, and it's then I really see what I have accomplished without focusing on the guilt behind what didn't get done.

Very powerful....more to come!

Thank you! Now that is very helpful!

By all means please keep sharing your progress with this method. I will try that as well. Sounds like for me a someone with ADD, this might work well.

Thanks again!

It's funny. The universe helps in the strangest of ways. If you had your answer from someone else when you first posted it might have become another one of those fires to put out. Finding it yourself automatically led to action.

Bringing back an old topic. Hope that's ok.

Newbie here, just today ordered the new Ultimate You Library plus the 4 newer bonus CDs.

There are so many wonderful-sounding CDs in this collection and I know nothing about how to do this yet. But how on earth do I choose which to start with?

Like the previous posts in this thread, I have lots of stuff going on, most of which are unrelated to each other. I enjoy them all, and have other things I'd like to do but have no time to explore or implement. There are only so many hours in the day and so much energy to expend. And my chronic health issues can rob me of days or weeks of productivity and motivation, making me even more frustrated at not getting things accomplished and therefore feeling like a lazy blob.

So would New Behavior Generator be the starting point? I need to focus and use that energy to stay on task, but I need to decide what task to do first each day. I had always worked best under deadline pressure, but since my health also robbed me of my ability to think and learn like I used to, this is no longer working for me.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, so that I can jump in immediately when the CDs arrive and begin structuring the new me!

If your health is an issue that robs you of energy and focus in other areas of your life, I definitely suggest starting with "Perfect Health," as improvements in this area will give you more energy to tackle other areas. I've only been using the CDs for about a week, but I've already developed a kind of regimen that has had tremendous impact. I start each day with 10-Minute Supercharger. I do at least one other session each day, on a rotating basis (a lot like my workout plan). I often do two additional sessions each day - one at mid-afternoon, and one in the evening.

Three evenings a week I fall asleep to Dream Play. I used to do lucid dreaming practice a long time ago, but fell out of the habit. I think of Dream Play as a sort of "secret weapon" in these programs, because lucid dreaming can help you resolve problems in ways you'd never consciously thought of.

Obviously there are limitless combinations, but I consider physical health to be primary. It's hard to have a positive outlook on anything if you feel like crap.

Take care,

Dave

Pick one thing. The most important thing that you would like to change. That will be the one you focus on.

If you're mind is not clear on that use the New Options Generator. That will get the ideas forming what you want or need to work on most. (If you choose to use it for that).
