Tangerine Technique and Accelerated Learning State are two different things.

Tangerine technique triggers a focus that stops scatter brained thinking while reading.

Accelerated Learning State is a technique deliberately slowing the brainwaves so you are in the perfect state of mind to give yourself positive affirmation and intention statements. It creates positive expectancy for outcome.

Use the tangerine technique with all steps of the system. The Accelerated Learning State is used just before entering photofocus. Because by this time you've made up your mind what you want from the book now you can create positive expectancy.

For the Tangerine technique... touch the top back part of the head.. Feel the sensation there? That's what you notice when you're focused on reading., it's your signal that you are in an ideal state for "reading"

If you close your eyes and follow the steps for entering the Accelerated Learning State follow the steps and take about 3 to 5 minutes doing it the first 10 times... then just taking three deep breaths will be all it takes later. In the beginning you're creating a trigger and keeping your eyes closed for 3 minutes guarantees you brains is firing more Alpha. To fire more alpha you just need to suppress the trigger for beta ... focusing with your eyes.

I do PhotoRead forums but I don't bother with short articles of less than 200 words.
