Thanks so much for the info, gallen! You spell out very well the vigilence needed to regain health. It need not be a struggle, but a growing awakening to be in the Present! And it is always good to be reminded to carry the practice into every thought!
I love the mudra! So simple to do almost any time(TV? : ( ~OK, just My Name Is Earl and The Office...;>). The message being ~ I am Whole and Clear...to say 'healed' would mean I was sick...I never change the basic practice...but seek to do it good, better, best. When I grow weary or impatient during practice, I know I am thinking instead of experiencing the Harmony. If I am being too resistant to do a complete practice, doing one movement is better and more beneficial...
As I was writing, I wanted to find a better way to say "I have Lupus". I wanted to describe the condition, but not "own" it or "be owned" BY it. I opted for a typical way of writing: I have lupus. And I was aware that it was not the way I wanted to think, yet I couldn't think of a way to describe the situation...on the one hand, I need to acknowledge the condition so it can be treated in my daily life; on the other, to acknowledge it, solidifies it, as you say.
?????????
I suppose I could say I am healing from lupus, or I am regaining balance in my body from lupus.
And this brings up another question: certainly I cannot ignore that I have food sensitivities. How am I to be aware of this, take care of my body by acknowledging this "condition" and yet be positive in my thoughts? I could say, I am a vegan because it is best for me to eat this way...I do not eat this or that because I want to maintain the balance in my body...
I am speaking of being in conversation with people who are also dealing with health issues, and not while I am doing SFQ or in my thoughts. Could open up some interesting conversations!
More thoughts, gallen? I appreciate your time and concern!
I knew that SFQ would be a profound and more fruitful experience for me expanding on the direction I was taking in my spiritual life!
