Oooo...I like "blockage"..."I am dealing with a blockage in my immune system"...definitely gives a picture of a limited situation...like you wouldn't expect someone to be "afflicted" with constipation~~it is a blockage!...a very limited condition that will be resolved soon. And Oxygen's ~"I have this thing...a blockage thing...yeah it's called...um...well it has to do with getting my immune system balanced again." People tend to fixate on labels.

It is not just a matter of how *I* or you self define the words...when I said "I have lupus", *I* knew I was not defined by lupus. But what you heard was a defining phrase. So it is with words...others put out energy that empowers or inhibits based on what *their* understanding is.

To say "I have lupus", elicits varying responses like ~courage in the face of a dis~ease, caring about how I am doing, or pity...the latter of which I do not need! So it IS important beyond one's own understanding to use energy empowering or neutral words to ensure positive responses. We can be in a state of awareness where other's responses do not effect us, but most of us are not consistently there yet...
I sure don't introduce myself as ~Hi, I'm Miriam and I have lupus...~lol! Lupus Anonymous! lol! The people who ask after me are those who were supportive of me during the worst of the acute attack. In fact I saw a woman recently who asked how I was feeling. I looked at her blankly not understanding what she was referring to. She then mentioned lupus and I brushed it off with ~...fine...thru diet... and changed the subject. So it is really only in my mind when my health needs attention.

And mudras are doing healings as well as self-awareness. Double the benefit when you can!

The phrase "I'm sorry" can be accepted as a peacemaker or as a sign of weakness(and an opening to abuse, or self-righteousness of the person saying the words or the one receiving the words!). So True!

Regarding being in harmony during practice: this is a personal awareness that each must make: am I done or just distracted...I was referring to being distracted.
Don't get too caught up in *words* gallen! ;> Sometimes it is important to get the *flavor* of the conversation! ;> ...and you did in the end understand my inexact wording. There is theory and then there is reality.

Awareness is the journey we are on! A Master like Chunyi Lin is going to be much more aware for long periods of time than most other people...and it is beautiful to know that he is ever growing as well. It does bring the Humanness to LIFE! There is always the Beyond, and we are where we are at. Some say we are perfect where we are at because, well, it is where we are at! Acceptance of this perfection is very important to balance and maintaining well~being and to REGAINING health. It unties the knot of needing to "achieve" and is comforting at times of discouragement. When each is ready to move to the next level of awareness, something wonderful happens and there you are!...It is about being in the Present...

Food sensitivities vs. preferences: I would PREFER to eat dairy products, eggs, nuts and wheat products, with the occasional meat. But I am not able to do this at this time w/o negative impact in my body that is more than I wish to deal with each day. So I make different choices. But it is not my personal preference. I do accept that this will heal.
And it is not written in stone. We were at graduation parties for our children the past couple of days. The food consisted of things that are not part of my current diet. I ate 3X the amount my husband ate! I suffered surprisingly little. I needed to eat that food at that time, and I did not stop myself. One must be AWARE(that word again)of what you are telling you in your body...and listen to you. There are days when I am sensitive to FOOD! And I am hungry...but all I can ingest w/o hurting myself is fluids. This is not my preference of course, but it is the choice I make to stay at a level of health at this time. I do equate wholeness/balance with being able to make choices freely and without constraint of bodily consequences(within moderation of course...hear my meaning and not just my words...).

I have always gone to doctors with the intent of cooperation and maintaining my personal power. They really don't like that...if you don't do what they want and follow their protocols, they will fire you as their patient! Liability and malpractice suits are their concern.
Even when I went to a Naturopathic doctor, she became upset with me, because I wasn't healing according to her plan! LOL!
Blessing medicines: Prednisone and Imuron are meds designed to take over your entire body including the adrenal glands, thyroid, kidneys, liver, and other metabolisms. There are extreme consequences to these meds. These meds are trying to block the immune system and these organs and systems are involved in that system. To tell the meds~now don't do harm to these things ~is to tell the meds don't do your job...and then they won't work at all. Like drinking Drano~ it dissolves crap in the plumbing and is not meant as a drink...it is a poison...do you have enough Awareness to Bless it and stop it from being a poison and to drink it...and still allow it to clear out your plumbing?

I don't. There are rare and amazing people who can eat metal and drink poison w/o being harmed...they are the wayshowers to how powerful we truly are and how we can shift our perceptions!

But I am not there yet...are you? Better to find other forms of balance. These meds bring incredible imbalance to the body, mind and spirit. They are poison. I know because I took them for a year and had to deal with the consequences. And I had accepted them as part of my healing, and so my intent was blessing them. But my body said very clearly to me one day~" Why are you Poisoning me?".

And that is why I sought out a Naturopath and spent some months weaning off, cleansing and strengthening the organs that had been damaged by these meds. (All the doctors were thrilled that I was no longer taking these meds which they finally acknowledged were terrible methods of controlling dis~ease.) And when her natural protocols harmed my Thyroid, I did even more research and found my own way. I do not take meds, I do not visit doctors; I check in with natural healers if I need info. Now, that is awareness and personal power at work. I plan on studying to become my own Master of Herbology...

I don't mean to bite you here, but when personal power and blessing meds are spoken about so blithely, it makes me angry.
Bless our multi--vitamins and yin-yang tea? Sure. Bless our food to neutralize the additives and give it a nutritional boost? Good, but better to eat foods w/o them, best to eat organically...and bless them! Bless the penicillin treating the strep throat? Bless your cold medicine? Good. But better to take Colloidal Silver(we make our own) or Oregano Oil. Best to stay in balance. Bless the surgeon and recuperation? Absolutely! Bless the chemo therapy...try it, but better to find alternatives.

That is what I did. I found alternatives to the Medical System. I use it as little as possible. That is better. Best will be when I am back in complete balance, whatever form that takes regarding diet.
I'm sorry for being irritable about this aspect of our conversation...
Your thoughts are very welcome, gallen and Oxygen~ this has been an interesting and important reminder to continue developing awareness and consciousness about our self in the world we live in ...inner and outer....

Now, I would like to refocus on the intention of my original post(and this conversation ends up being very much a part of it!):

How wonderful SFQ is; how potent it is, that this energy from Master Lin has been reaching even into my dreams to direct my energies to heal on ever deeper levels:
"I feel the practice has gone much deeper. Into inner blockages that are perhaps not even from this life(accepting that we live many lifetimes)and releasing things deep inside that I do not need to be aware of consciously or examine. Just gone like smoke to the end of the Universe..."

That is better healing than diet and is personally empowering. That is the best place from which to regain balance.

Love to you both~~Miriam
