your vision doesn't actually enlarge... it is just that you should notice that by moving your point of attention from in front of you to behind of you, that you pay attention to that in your peripheral vision.
If you have the personal learning course, try using disk 7 of the course to photoread a book... Paul Scheele describes what you should be doing far better than I
