I am having a bit of a hard time knowing if I am doing super reading correctly. I know that it is not the same as photoreading in the sense that you are not really diverging your eyes on the text such that it becomes out of focus. So, I scan down the middle of the page with my eyes converged on the text, but I have a difficult time noticing the outer words of a paragraph on the page. I only primarily notice the words in the middle of the page. So, my conscious mind keeps telling me that I am missing something when I super read.

Are there any good techniques for opening up your peripheral vision so I can see more of the text on a line (outer words) rather than on just the words in the middle of the line?

I know with super reading, you are supposed to follow your intuitive signals for where to dip. Instead of trying to focus on a line at a time, should I take the approach of looking down the center and trying to take in a paragraph at a time and let my intuition guide me?

Try a ziz zag technique. You should be doing about 15 seconds a page so let your eyes glance over to the outer edges for 1 second or 2 seconds.

Run the eye down the centre of the page. The eye will naturally pull you to the edges when it recognises information that relates to your mind probing question. You'll jump to it for dipping.
