The blip page can be 3 millimetres to about 6 centimetres. (1/8th inch to about 3 inches) If you're seeing the blip any wider than that you're trying too hard and may be crossing your eyes.
It can be just the left page or right page or combination of both pages. That depends on the strength of the eyes. You'll find that the stronger one dominates especially in the beginning.
You can see the blip page by looking over the top of the book or under the bottom. Those are the easier options for the beginner. As you become more proficient you'll be looking through the centre of the book.
Since the blip page does often disappear remember the imaginary x-technique. it's far more important that you keep turning the pages with a steady rhythm and keep the conscious mind busy with the chant than refocusing on the blip page every time. So when it disappears use the soft gaze and keep going.
