The blip page means you are in photofocus.
Relax, enjoy the chant which will keep your conscious mind from trying to read the words on the page, and give your unconscious mind a chance. This is photoreading.
If you are noticing words on the page, read the book upside down first then turn it round after. I do this with every book and find that by the time the book it the right way up, my gaze is so relaxed i don't even try to recognise words.
