Hi!

I have just started to photoread. Super read and dip in activate don't work so well when I'm trying to activate. It feels like im dipping before or dipping after the important text. It's hard to dip right on the important text.
And how do I actually know if i have photoread. I don't get any special feelings after I have photoread. I don't think i have done anything wrong. I have followed exactly everything in the book.

Anyone that can give some tips?

Toyy,

Keep going...you're doing fine.

Is super reading and dipping the only way you could activate the book? If you knew the information in the book. Where would you use the information?

It is interesting that you say it feels like I'm dipping before or dipping after the important text. Notice that feeling. If you feel that, is the information in the middle of the two feelings/areas? wow...you have a feeling..you know where not to go. That is fantastic.

If you want to know if you are photoreading...go easy on yourself. Do the dictionary game again. Not everybody gets a feeling, maybe an image comes to mind or you say something to your self. Keep Going.

Maybe you are dipping where you are asking your mind to go. Although you may have a question that somebody else wants you to answer, yet you are actually asking yourself another question.

Happy Travels

A

It's not a case that you don't get the feelings... your unconscious mind has processed a tonne of interesting stuff after all.

The question is, are you relaxed enough and focused on the moment to notice the feelings that you have? It is easy to over-write those feelings with frustration, angst or what you are doing next.

Relax, focus on the here and now and acknowledge that the feelings are there...how can they not be...and you'll begin to notice them if you listen carefully.

Okay, thanks guys. When i super read should the text be a little blurred? Because i can get more of the sentence if I do that. It's hard to understand what paul means in the book. Or mayby should i use the perephiral vision?
And I wonder a thing guys. How did you guys first notice the feeling ? And how is the feeling you are getting, are the mind just telling you to dip or do you get any special pictures in your mind.

Replay Im interested

Well for me, relaxed focus works well so yes I see more than a few words, maybe 3 or 4 lines. And as for the feelings, usually it's either a particular phrase seems to jump out at me, or my eyes are just drawn to a certain section. Please don't expect the same - you are entirely different to me so your mind will have its own way. Establishing a strong link with your unconscious is half the fun... when the unconscious mind notices that you are paying attention, it will start sending you even more interesting information, ideas and suggestions.

Hi Toyy

I would say no the text should not be blurred when superreading. I would say there is a attraction something is urging you to stop and dip. One thing that you may find very helpful is constantly keep your purpose at the forefront of your mind when superreading. Then when you dip ask yourself is the sentence or words i just dipped into how is that related to my purpose?

Normally when you read you only see one word at a time consciously. By relaxing a little more and using the tangerine technique you should expand that to about the width of 4 to 6 words or not quite the width of the narrowest side of a business card.

In the beginning allow yourself to dip more but pull out fast if it doesn't start making sense and answering your question with a phrase. If it is just hang about for another phrase or two, maybe a sentence occasionally the paragraph is everything you want from the chapter. Just keep moving. Remember you can superread and dip a section, page or chapter a few times. Perhaps with a whole series of questions. The more details you want the more questions you will have.
