greetings. I'm brand new to this site. I had some reactions to your post:
Do you want to trust? Do you want to change, to try being happy? Until you decide to make that leap of faith, you will continue to cling to pain, and blame, and defending your negativity.
You are the power in your life. You are the Generator and Attractor of all. No CD, no therapist, no post, no book, is here to fix you. They are tools. And they are only valuable if you use them. Change is easier than you think. Decide that. Change is easy. Happiness is easy. Trust is easy. Take the leap of faith. Try it for a day, thinking new thoughts "I trust people. I trust people. I trust life. I AM OKAY. I DON'T NEED HELP" Heck, try it for ten minutes. See what happens. Wishing you joy, if you want it.
Hey there... it is strange that I would read this today. After I am over the 'issue' - long after. But I wanted to write and say thank you!! Thank you because you are now telling me exactly what I heard on Dr. Dyer and Bishop Jakes tape recording.
I have realized that I need a constant reminder. I know all this you see - I become over confident and decide I will start swimming at the deep end without any life support - soon after I start sinking - hence the moaning and the 'blaming' as you put it.
After a while, I need someone to remind me that if I think I can swim, or if I think I will sink. I am right! It's all within me, it's about me and it is up to me to get up and go to where I want to be - permanently.
I have decided that I will credit these "on again" and "off again" issues to trial and error. Some day, I will be in full control of my thoughts and will solve it before it becomes an issue.
You should have been here, back in December 2006. I think I have made quite a progress. I am very proud of myself for learning ... it's not easy but I am doing it and am having fun with it.
Thank you again - you are 100% right. Wishing you joy and happiness!!
