Hi everyone, I'm strongly considering buying the Photoreading course and I'd just like some feedback from people who've had success.
How long did it take before you started seeing results?
How many books do you photoread each week or month?
How good is the recollection of material? Are you at a level where you can consciously pick out info?
Has anyone actually taken a test on material photoread and how accurate was the information?
What I'm after is feedback from people who have mastered this course and can actually photoread, go through all the processes and sit down and KNOW what they have photoread?

Hi.

"What I'm after is feedback from people who have mastered this course and can actually photoread, go through all the processes and sit down and KNOW what they have photoread?"

It sounds like you are describing a person who just photoread a book and then knows the book. That is not photoreading and that is not how photoreadidng works.

What it sounds like is someone trying to develop a photographic memory.Photoreading is not about developing a photographic memory.

There is a 6 month guarantee and if you feel that photoreading does not work learning strategies will refund you your money no questions asked.

Most of us were taught to think in a very limited way in school. Photoreading blasts through those barriers and opens to us the possibility of what if? Being open provides more options and fluent thinking.

As long as it took them. It will vary from individual to individual.

As many as I want... I'm not sure how this will help you decide whether you want to learn to PhotoRead.

Excellent. Better than with the traditional reading approach.

your question doesn't make any sense to me. I've always been able to call on my memory.. you make it sound like it was faulty before PhotoReading I assure you it was not. I was always able to consciously call up memories.

Wow yes. hundreds have. Many have used the system on schoolwork. Search the forum.

Alex your response sounds almost hostile. If you think that my intentions were not honest then sorry if I came across that way but that was not my intention at all.
Before sitting down and investing my money and TIME, my money can be returned through a guarantee but my time( which is the most precious commodity) cannot.
I would like to know what others have experienced through this program? I think that is a fair question.
If my questions do come across as somewhat ignorant, well I apologize but they are. As I don't know all that much about this method other than what i've read about it but I'm not convinced enough to order yet as no one has given clear testimonials (personal ones) that this has worked for them.

How many books do you photoread each week or month?
The reason I ask this is because I too can speed read through a bunch of books , I am trying to see if this is a skill that people repeatedly use, effectively.

I need to be able to seperate hype from reality if I am to invest my time, money and energy on this.
I hope you understand and can possibly fill me in some more. Thanks for any info.

Hi Kosta.

I do not think Alex was being hostile at all.

Allow me to share something with you about Alex. It was a few years ago it did not seem all that long ago that Alex was exactly where you are now. Back then she was a person who had heard about photoreading it really borders on amazing to me how far she has come in a relatively short period of time. Actually Alex first learned photoreading with the photoreading book. Then i believe she got the photoreading learning course and learned even more. So Alex was where you are now and she really had a amazing transformation i share this story with you to encourage you not discourage you.

Today Alex is a certified photoreading instructor (no easy task not just anybody can become a certified photoreading instructor and it does present its challenges).

In my opinion i think what led to Alex's success was that she just followed the instructions and did what the book and the course told her to do. Apparently a lot of people have a problem doing that following the instructions that is.

Time and time again i have seen and witnessed Alex continually help many, many people and this was before she ever became a certified photoreading instructor. I know there was one photoreader who was using photoreading to help him master complex mathematics for a economics class at cambridge university and i am sure he would say how much Alex helped him and there are many others as well.

Learning strategies guarantee is that you will be able to complete your reading in a third of the time it takes you to do so now. If it takes you 10 hours to complete a book reading the way you do now with photoreading you will be able to complete the book in 3 hours or less. If you have a complicated textbook that takes you 90 hours to go through with photoreading you should be able to go through the same book in 30 hours instead of 90 hours.

I believe learning strategies gives you a 6 month guarantee if you are not happy with the course you can return it for a full refund no questions asked. I do not know of any other companies that do that give you 6 months to use their product and then allow you to return it if you find you cannot make photoreading work for you.

And photoreading is definitely not speed-reading. The course creates a shift in how you respond to written materials and in my own opinion goes beyond just a reading course it goes into the realm of learning more efficiently.

No need to apologise. You may read it how you want. Your questions are such that no one will answer them and I find it impossible to give long answers for everyone so I gave a direct and honest answer to your specific questions. They weren't written with a hostile heart. I was trying to figure out how the answers would help you.

If you want a better idea of what the system is about why don't you check out the PhotoReading website? It has a few audios and videos. Learning Strategies will even send out a free CD with the video. (international customers will need to pay shipping but the CD is free.) The CD will give you an insight to how it works.

For everyone it takes as long as it takes for them to learn the system with the home study course. If you take a live seminar you'll learn it a weekend. If you take a private class with me you learn PhotoReading and some stuff not taught in the PhotoReading course in 2 days. No one has ever left one of my classes without seeing and experiencing for their self that they can get their reading done in 1/3rd the time or less by using the PhotoReading system.

How many books you read in a week is up to you. It always has been a personal choice and you don't lose that when you learn PhotoReading. I do read as many books as I want. Also a lot of websites and news feeds, articles. So some weeks I don't activate any books any and that is as many as I want. To give you a number is misleading. It doesn't tell you how much I read never the less I do cover a lot of reading material each day.

Alex
