Hello!

I think that I know all the steps in the book for the whole mind system and I myself have used them many times.

But I don't get how I should dip in the sections that I super read. I know that I should relax and listen to my unconscious mind, but I am relaxed and trying to listen, but I don't get any signals.

I know that I must learn to get that feeling to be able to learn the whole mind system (because that's the only thing left for me to learn before I can say that I am an photoreader).

So people here that knows the whole mind system. How do you do to get that feeling for listening for the nonsonscious mind?

please help me, I am stuck!

I have the same problem and I think many people have this problem. I have searched in the net about it.
I have heard that you need to communicate with your nonconscious mind, you have to be "friend" with it before you can start to get signals from it. So do anyone here know how we should solve this problem.
In the photoreading book paul never teached how we should listen to our nonconscious mind, he said that we should relax and stay focused and listen to it. I have done that and I don't get any signals.
I can say that Im not frustrated or something like that, Im relaxed and focused and trying to get signals but nothing shows up.

Hi.

One time i was activating a book. I asked my other than conscious mind where in this book is the statement that states or sums up what the book is about?

I opened the book and it went to the exact page where is stated what was the main crux or theme of the book.I had made no attempt to look in the index or table of contents i just spontaneously opened the book and it went to the exact page.

This has happened on more than one occasion.

Sometimes i have been off by a few pages.

The other day i had misplaced a very important paper. I asked my other than conscious mind to lead me to where the paper was. I found the paper within minutes. I think there were 2 keys to my success in finding the paper. First i relaxed. Second i believed that my other than conscious mind would help me.

While this is a nice story i would say that fortunately we have activation techniques that we can count on so it is not a case of hit or miss. I would also add that probably the biggest roadblock to success in activation is not having a purpose or having a vague or weak purpose.

Hi guys,

The following is taken from one of my blog posts on this very subject. This isn't THE answer, it worked for me and was recommended to me by one of my trainers, on a method to improve intuition.

###
So how do you communicate with your unconscious? Firstly you are doing it all of the time - every time you access long-term memory, you react to something new in your field of vision, a sound or smell, that’s your OTC talking to you. However if you would like to get a little more one to one, find somewhere quiet and relaxing. Take a deep breath and sigh. Imagine yourself somewhere really relaxing and allow yourself to sink in to that place for a few minutes, until you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Then say hello, perhaps you want to visualise a person and wave, perhaps you speak and listen, whatever is comfortable for you. It is likely that your OTC has many of your personality traits, so treating him \ her the way you like to be treated may well yield results. After a while of getting comfortable with this, you could perhaps ask to recall some distant memories - colours, smells or sounds from your past, and see what happens. Be very simple and clear with your language, as the OTC is very literal with words, and relax in the knowledge that the answer will come to you. Maybe not immediately, and perhaps not in the form you expect, especially if you have been a little unspecific with your questions, but the answers will come. Most of all, have fun with it, because the least that you can expect is a few minutes’ down time, from which you will emerge feeling great. Over time, as you develop a relationship, you can expect to receive information quicker and more accurately, which, as you can imagine, could have a dramatic impact on your memory, as well as being able to trust your instincts better.

To think it's a feeling is a error. It's not always a feeling it's seeing words as you superread and noticing the ones that want you to slow down and read.

It can be more of a recognition that goes hey I know you.

Some reasons you don't get the feeling to dip,
you haven't asked a question -check your trigger words have a question in mind
You're not interested in the subject - build your curiosity by strengthening your purpose, be playful.
You're waiting for a feeling and ignoring other signals to dip. It's not always a feeling it can be the voice in the head that says dip now. Words can glow or just attract the eye. You might even be ignoring the internal message that say go back you missed it - just ask where and then go back where your instinct takes you.

I am pretty sure that I have a strong purpose and questions when I am going to activate. I have written down trigger words and I have questions on the book to be answered which when answered will fullfill my purpose.

I am also intrested in the subject when I photoread the book.

I really try, but I don't get any signals to dip. Can it have something to do with that I find it hard to enter the accelerative learning state, although I have followed the instructions in the book. Maybe I haven't photoread correctly.

Mmmh... I have tried the dictionary game. I was relaxed and tryed to see if i get any signals. I didn't get anything except tension in my head. When it was no tension it was there the word was. I don't now if it's a signal from my unconscious mind.
When i tryed to photoread books with this signal it didn't go so well. I got tension all the time so I didn't know where i should dip it never stopped where I should dip.
So.. I don't know if it a signal from my nonconscious mind.

PhotoWannabe,

Just dip a word or two every paragraph. You might also be superreading too fast and creating anxiety. If you've got self-talk going that says. when do I dip, am I doing it right, how will I know when to dip and similar, You are in the wrong frame of mind. You're not actually focused on reading and instead just rushing the superreading.

Try this. Pick one question, set the timer for 7 minutes and while superreading chant your question in your mind. The idea of the chant in this case is to serve as a reminder for what you want from the book.

Now with your first question how do you know where to start in the book? Check the index, check the table of content. Check the parts of the book that interested you during postview. Or you can just open the book. I still love it when I open a book to exactly the page with the answer.

Remember also to use the tangerine technique. Place your tangerine before you start superreading.

Now another point that comes to mind. If you continue to have trouble with superreading, Skitter instead. It's slower but much more effective on textbooks, books heavy in academic slanted writing, And books with only one or two paragraphs per page..

Toyy,

The dictionary game is just a game.

Just think of a word and then guess. If your experience is similar to mine. You get a bit frustrated or blank when you think of a word that's not in the dictionary. Then your amazingly cool brain is just helping to stoke your believe that you cannot do it. Which is kind of funny when you think about it. How in the world does the mind know that you will not find the word in that particular dictionary if you hadn't PhotoRead it.

If you don't know where to dip you don't know what you are looking for. Ask a question. If you don't see it getting answered rephrase it, look at the chapter heading or subheading and turn THAT into a mind probing question.
