Hello you wonderful woman,
How are you?
After you've left me all alone ("Awwww...") with my difficulties in learning to PR I had given it up, because there was no progress.
In the meantime I've studied NLP and applied it's techniques to overcome my insecurities that also negatively influenced my trust in my unconscious mind and the PR concept.
As I have also gained insights in how the brain works I'm able to understand the PR concept and accept that it works.
I'm now PRing at least five books a day following all the steps with modifications like visually imagining the purpose.
I've partially activated a book and found that I remember the answers to my mind-probing questions much better and more visually than as I did when I conventionally read a book.
Also do I need just ten to twenty minutes for the first PR steps depending on the size of the book. But I think there's room for improvement yet.
I'm confident that I'll be as "successful" at PRing like you and Pete Bisonette are one day. Maybe it will take only a week. Maybe a few more. Who knows. But I'll be able to do so.
If you have the time there are three questions I'm interested in having answered them.
1. When activating I experienced being able to superread whole paragraphs at once. So I'm "reading" a page in three to five seconds.
I've experienced being drawn to parts that answer my MPQs, but there's often the thought: "What if...?"
What if there is something related to my question that I overlook?
So I start reading line for line, sometimes finding something, often not.
Besides that I find much less trigger words to write down for the following activation layers when reading whole paragraphs.
Is this just an insecurity issue I'm describing or would you recommend to read line for line?
2. During activation I recognized that I'm not interested in some chapters at the moment, so I leave them out.
I know that I'll be able to activate them any other time if I want to, but there's a thought that came to my mind: "What if I talk with someone about what I have read or there's a discussion and I recognize that there's something about this in a book I've PRed, but haven't activated?"
So I get angry because I think: "If I just would have activated this."
Which leads to pressuring myself to activate the whole book.
As I haven't experienced spontaneous activation yet, I'd like to know how I can teach my brain to give me the answer to an MPQ without the need of the book.
I'm going to ask myself questions about the PRed books during the day, as I think it will teach my unconscious this ability.
3. What if I have to activate everything?
I have a few exams in the next weeks and found summaries of the books I would have to learn from.
I thing MPQs could help.
Any further advice?
Have a nice weekend, Alex.
