I thought SRing and skimming to be the same.

I stopped the time and it takes eight to nine seconds per page.
I see every word but I'm going too fast for my brain to be able to create images or meanings from the words.

If I think about it, it could be that I am SR at the beginning of activating but unconsciously slow down after a few pages so that my brain becomes able to make a sense of the content.

I'm going to examine this theory by SRing hundred pages and observing myself, if I slow down.
