Not having a question you want answered while superreading is a waste of time this is why you are having problems activating. Always have a question in mind that you want answered while superreading. Your question should be related closely to your purpose.

Superreading is a conscious activity you do not want to block the conscious mind when you are doing a conscious activity.

Do not chant while superreading. Chant when you photoread. Silently chant the relax when photoreading.

Have your question in mind when superreading.

Keep your mind-probing questions to a maximum of 3 mind-probing questions when superreading.

Why do you need this information from the book the aging brain and how to keep it healthy how are you going to use this information from the book? That is your purpose right there why you need the information from the book and what you will do with the information from the book, how you will use the information from the book.


15 seconds a page is ok but if you find yourself sub-vocalizing you are going too slow pick up the pace. When you superread you are going too fast to subvocalize.
