Forget about the blip it is not necessary to have a blip to photoread. Look at the 4 corners of the book and keep them in your view and notice the whiteness of the pages and imagine a imaginary x across the pages.
You already know how to photoread.
Forget about the dictionary game for now, focus on learning activation skills.
Rather than spend all this time on photoreading (which you already know how to do) focus on learning activation skills.
Simon the number one problem in my opinion for new photoreaders is having problems not being able to activate a book after photoreading. What i see time and time again the problem is usually due to no purpose. When no purpose has been set or determined the new photoreader usually draws a blank when it comes time to activate the book. Also sometimes there is some confusion on the techniques of superreading people think they are superreading when they are not superreading.
Again, have a very strong, clear purpose. Understand why you need the information from the book you are activating and how you will use the the information.
And have really good mind-probing questions that are directly related to your purpose. Start with no more than 3 mind-probing questions on your first activation and do a mind-map after superreading.
Understand that the first activation pass you will get very little information from the intitial pass but do not give up too quickly because you feel you are not getting anything. Do 3 or 4 more activation passes and you will see that you get more as you continue to activate. Make sure that you take a 5 to 7 minute break after each activation.
