Hi there,

I am reviewing my activation strategy.....

I have photoread4me give me tremendous advice in the past and I am now looking for some more detailed help.

In Activation it is recommended to do superreading or skittering. This should be working on 1 chapter at a time and doing a 20 minute session, specifically looking for answers to specific questions you formulate. After the 20 mins, you do a reflect an review and then mind map what you have in your head. Do this until you have satified your purpose for the chapter then move onto the next.

What I am wondering is say you are working on 1 specific chapter with 6 subsections in it and you are spending your 20 minutes looking for your answers to questions. When you do your multiple passes, (say it takes 10 multiple passes in 20 minutes) do you have to wait until the end of the session before you start adding to your mindmap?

I am therefore assuming that for that whole 20 minutes, all the information has to be MENTALLY noted first then you reflect and review and add to the mindmap from what you have mentally noted?
Is it common to do more than 1 x 20min session for 1 chapter?

regards
dmlocke
