I may, or may nt be following this correctly, so...
Is there a fabric canopy between the bed and the metal frame connecting the top of the posts?
It's not so much "blocking" the Qi as it is with the qualities of the Qi once it flows around or through something (like when it goes through a slotted railing on a deck).
