Hi,
I could use some help...
When I Photoread a whole Book also a technichal book for my studies, do I have to see one chapter as a hole book and spend for example 30 Minutes in superread or skittering? Because when I skitter a whole book, it takes me about 1 hour (400 pages) WITHOUT dipping! Do you have any advice or experiances you could share?

Another question, my purpose on photoreading is to get trugh my studies more easy and exam very well (the opposit I did along til now) ;-). I worked trough the 1 day DVD seminar by Pauly, the book, his audio tapes and the memory optimizer by Vera F. Birenbihl, do I need more material for study at a high level? Any "good" material that I missed till now?

I hope someone can help me, my next exam is in five weeks and I have a lot of stuff to read ;-)!

I forgot something , do I have to set a different purpose for each capture of a technical Book? For example, the book is about economics and every capture tells about another theory of economics, so that I think I can't set my purpose on "learn about the impotant theorys so that I can understand and use them" f.e.
Did you get me :-)?

Do you speak German? If you do, I might be able to communicate with you and understand your smaller problems a little better.

But so far, from what I've read, I'd say you shouldn't treat each chapter as a book, but the book as a whole. And maybe make your purposes more general, in order to allow your brain to accept all information under that purpose.

Hi Jackstuff13, ist mein Englisch so schlecht? ;-).

Ok, Felix, I did understand correctly ( I hope)

Sorry this is in English, but my speaking abilities in German are very limited.

I can understand most of it though.

As for your purpose problem, I would say make a different purpose for every few groups of chapters, instead of each individual chapter.

That would set a few sort of goals for your mind to set out to accomplish, and you might retain more information in this way.

Hope I could help.

Good luck!

Viel Glück!!!
