Hi.
I will be sitting for my exam one and a half month ahead.I already pick up photoreading, but always messed up with my school work.
After the examination,I will be waiting at least 4 months to get my result.
Should I relearn photoreading after my examination or continue learning now.Need suggestion here.

Thanks in advance

I would say keep learning now, because I have had the course for just a few days, (I received it Monday) and I am already able to photoread books and experience spontaneous and manual activation. It shouldn't take too long to learn, because your brain already has the capabilities to do it.

I am currently attending school, and though it's the beginning of the year, I've been so busy with school work, and it just keeps piling on. But I always find time in between the time I finish my work, and before I sleep. I usually get one to two free hours per day, excluding dinner and stuff like that.

That's just my view on it, but if you find it keeps interfering with work and your grades might be suffering, you might want to postpone photoreading.

But just adjust to your schedule however you need to and you should be fine.

Hope I could help

Hi Jack.
Thanks for your reply.I did not order the course but I bought a translated version of PRWMS,I wonder if the book would have the same effect as the course.
May I know how many books you PR per day?Do you follow the 5-day plan or the steps as told by Paul in the book or course?
I PR only one book for one day.I think I couldn't grasp the concept of purpose, trigger words, and activation very well.

Hey Elison,

I'm pretty sure the book will help you, but I can't be certain, because I ordered the course.

I haven't started photoreading daily, but I plan to start very soon ( Either tomorrow or Monday).

I want to first experience spontaneous activation through dreaming, before I start, but since Monday, I've photoread three books, plus another one, which I have yet to activate.

The concept of purpose is to sort of set a goal for yourself, and know where you're going and what you are going to try to get. I guess it's sort of like planning a trip, where you first think about where you're going and what you might do there, in order to stay organized and to have things go well (as planned).

The concept of Trigger words are to familiarize yourself with unknown themes. This is because it is easier to read something you are familiar with, instead of a concept you are totally unfamiliar with.

The concept of activation is just that: To activate the information your subconscious has processed, in order to bring it to a conscious level, and be able to speak about it as if you were an expert on the subject, or know a lot about it.

If you meant something else by "concept of....activation" , for example, HOW to activate, then just ask again, and I'll try to explain that as best I can.

Hope this helps you.

Hi!

I just PRed an art book that I was interested in few days ago until I wanted to activate the book morning today.I used Superread and dip(By using finger I follow the way of my finger along the centre of the passage, from top to bottom,am I doing the right way?) to find the answer.I found that there were very few words that caught my attention and sometimes I could not keep up with the speed of my moving finger.

When you activate, you state a purpose or you don't?

During activation stage, you choose either Mind-Probing/Superread and
dip/skittering/mind map?

If we do mind-probing,we just simply asked the question but do not find for the answer?

When I PR,sometimes blip page does appear sometimes it does not. At the beginning of PR,I use tangerine method(in the process I also forgot the existence of orange behind my head,is my concious mind occupied?),tried to relax ,but sometimes I did not follow the steps in the book,as I couldn't really remember all the steps,so I just deep breathe and looked at the middle of the book, flip at one page per second. After finished,I told myself I gonna use the information of the book in the future.

Before this I did state a purpose like this before activation:I want to know the information in the book so that I can communicate well with my art teacher. Then I did superread and dip.

When superread and dip,can we do mind-probing?

Btw,Jack,May I know how is your process going during the whole PR progress? You are studying A-level now or other courses?Looking forward for yout reply.

You always need a purpose and you always superread and dip with one of your mind probing questions in mind. You are looking for answers to your questions.

I suggest you focus on your preparation for the exam and learn the PhotoReading system as a whole after the exam. You may play with the PhotoReading step and PhotoRead your textbooks however use your traditional method for studying and reading to activate it. You won't have the speed yet and still it may improve your grade.

Hi Alex.

What are the books you recommend to me if I intend to study just only with the books.I saw at this forum before that there are books like Einstein Factor,Power Memory. Can you list down the books that are essential for me?Is there any books regarding mind mapping?

I gonna check the books online to see if the books are avaiable in the nearest bookstore.Thank you.

Hey Elison!

Thanks a lot for asking how my photoreading is going. It's going very well, thank you!

I don't have a certain type of book that I use photoreading for. I really photoread every book that I want to read, or never got the time to.

But if I were you, and you want essentials, I would photoread books with information you know you want to get.

For example, if you wanted to get ahead in business or something like that, photoread books on that subject. And photoread as many as you can on that subject, so your mind can sort of organize all the information and you could activate exactly what you need to know.

And what I am starting to do, is I photoread any book I can find if I think it will help me. I don't actually go out looking for a certain book all the time. That's fine to do, but just try to find anything you think will help you.

Hope I could help.

-Sincerely

Halo.

I do want to learn PR but major exam is coming so as Alex suggested I just play
around with PR steps like PR,tangerine technique, purpose and affirmation.

When in Accelerated Learning State, the peripheral vision is expanding, right?I feel like my eye balls are moving outwards, like my left eye move to my left side even more and this happens to my right eye also.I do this when I use the tangerine technique.

I wonder if any people experience this.

Accelerated Learning State is the place where you give yourself the positive affirmations, purpose and intent.

Useful for all areas of studying. You can enter the Accelerated Learning State just before a lecture and give yourself the instructions to, understand, focus, participate.

For exams, tell yourself you'll be relaxed, answers come to you easily, you finish on time.

Studying affirm your concentration and focus.

The PhotoReading step is where you expand your peripheral focus.
