I'm a beginner photoreader, but I'm doing extremely well with it, maybe because of the attitudes I keep towards it, but I must say thank you to Paul Scheele, Pete Bisonnette, and the rest of Learning Strategies Corporation.
See, I am pretty young, and still live with family (sister, and two parents).
We live in a pretty small apartment, very cozy, but a bit cluttered.
I don't usually get too much alone time, only about a half hour every week day before school, no time after school, and a few hours on the weekend.
Being in such a small place, sound carries much easier. And it tends to be quite noisy at times.
I find this very distracting, but there really isn't anything I can do about it.
Any suggestions as to how to photoread without these distractions?
I'm hoping that when someday I do go off to college, that I still keep up with photoreading and will be placed in a quieter area in a dormitory.
But until then, I don't know what to do.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
