This is from the EFT website:
http://www.emofree.com/What is EFT?
EFT is based on a new discovery that has provided thousands with relief from pain, diseases and emotional issues. Simply stated, it is an emotional version of acupuncture except needles aren't necessary. Instead, you stimulate well established energy meridian points on your body by tapping on them with your fingertips. The process is easy to memorize and is portable so you can do it anywhere. It launches off the EFT Discovery Statement which says...
"The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system."
I have been using it to deal with physical pain as well as to work through issues. You can download the manual for free and the founder provides all sorts of free information on it. There is also an introductory video on it on the website:
www.tapping.comI purchased the PhotoReading system and while it doesn't specifically mention "EFT", the Results Supercharge DVD shows Paul Scheele tapping on the meridians used in EFT. I'm only mentioning that here to give it more credibility!
One possible side effect is that as you tap or "EFT" on an issue, the feeling may shift and then you'll have to tap on that. For example, you may tap on "Even though I feel so angry about [event]" and then you may feel a bit sad and you'll have to tap on the sad feeling.
I've tapping from issue to issue. Releasing one usually allows us to see (the underlying cause). I am thinking that EFT may be a great addition to all your personal development "tools" and it's free
