I think I know what response i am going to get from this question considering the readership of this forum, but does Centerpointe really work?

I ask because I used it for one year, one hour per day on about 5 days per week, without any noticeable effect. Except perhaps for feeling more tired, because I had to get up an hour early to do it. I always fell asleep while listening even after a year. No upheaval, no revelations, no reduction in stress levels. I gave it up in about Jan 2003 because I wasn't getting anything from it, but I am thinking of trying it again. Mostly I think I would just like some reassurance that I am not wasting my time, and that it will provide some benefits - eventually.

I skimmed through the long thread on Natural Brilliance v Centerpoint Program. Most people seem to have found holosync beneficial but I would be interested to know the ratio of success to failure, ie what proportion of people who try it find it worthwhile? And how long does it take to see some benefits? For me its not a case of NB v Centerpointe because I have also tried NB, Sedona, Photoreading and countless other things, none of which have done anything - except to make me even more convinced that nothing will ever work.

I have a limited budget for these things, and even more limited time, so I can't do Centerpointe and NB and Sedona etc. I have to pick one, but which one? I like the idea of Centerpoint at least, because i don't have to do anything other than find the time, which is likely to be early morning or late night when I am half asleep. I have no chance of actually being able to concentrate on anything at that time of the day. But I find it difficult to stick to the routine since I haven't seen any benefit after one year.

I never bought the deeper levels because I didn't think the first level did anything. How do I know when I have "finished" it when I never felt any effect in the first place? Also the frequent letters asking for several hundred dollars make me suspcious.

I would be interested to hear other people's experiences with Centerpointe and other tools, particularly from anyone who has been stuck like me. Should I carry on with the first level, get the next level, or try something completely different?

Thanks in advance.

Like the NLPers say, if something doesn't work for you, then try something else.

If you ask Bill Harris, he says that the program will work for you, and have yet to hear him say something like, "Well, Holosync doesn't necessarily work for everyone..."

It could just be that the Awakening Prologue isn't challenging your brain in the same way it does for a lot of people, so I'm sure there are changes occurring, they're probably just more subtle. And just because you say you're not feeling upheaval, that doesn't necessarily mean anything either. Bill says that the resistance can take different forms, falling asleep being one of them.

My advice would be to stick with it, and if you haven't seen any results at all after completing Awakening Prologue and then after moving on to the next couple levels, then I'd suggest trying something else.

I sympathise with your plight. You have done well to have stuck with the program for as long as you have.
Have you tried contacting the Centerpointe support team. They will be able to advise you and believe me they will not give you the hard sell.
The tiredness and falling asleep is an expected sign of overwhelm. I have experienced this but in my case for no more than two or three weeks.
At this stage I definetly would not recommend buying the advanced levels until you have satisfactorily made it through Awakening Prologue. Again I would contact the support team.
Good Luck.

Hi,

I think you'll find that a lot of people come up against "resistance". This is probably out of your conscious awareness and can take many forms. Remember, the Centerpointe program isn't short-term, although benefits can be gained at an early stage. The point is that one may have to make a lengthy commitment to derive the long-term benefits. Eventually h/s will push through the belief structure of your unconsciousness and bring it to your conscious awareness. Also, the raising of your threshold, so what used to bother you doesn’t anymore. I’ve experienced this just recently.

I've been doing h/s for about 3 years, and in this period of time can see I'm only on the outer periphery of the program and the benefits it's giving me. And there's so much more to come!

I feel it’s natural to be sceptical. I’ve been through that countless of times where other times (and the most important) I get these deep insights to how I really tick.

I would urge you to continue and of course contact the support team, either by email or phone.

Best of luck!

I have been doing Holosync for two years daily.Looking back it was a waste of time and money for me.Besides being way overpriced it did not live up to it's claims.Right now I am switching my time and money primarily to Learning Strategies for one.As for yourself be aware and good luck.Tom

I'm about 7 weeks into AP and have had noticable results from it. My emotional threshold is higher and a lot of pieces seems to come together a lot better. I use it in conjunction with paraliminal tapes and it seems that h/s affects it in a good way.

I'm definitly sticking with it and paraliminals are the only thing that has really helped me before. I just love the fact that you just sit down and listen for an hour. I'm not disciplined enough to meditate on my own for an hour a day.

My question:

Does the Holosync meditation improve your conscious contact with God as you understand Him, and give you knowledge of His will and the ability to cary it out?

Domo.

That's not my intention so I don't know if I'll experience it. Although I've felt the feeling of beeing more a part of the all. Dissolving fear that keeps me from beeing united with the all.

Well, I'm just a beginner and this kind of questions would perhaps be best answered over at: http://pub28.ezboard.com/bcenterpointe
There you'll find more experienced users.

Kaiden, you seem reluctant to try h/s. To much things going already? Bad impression?

T
