In the Level 3 course, Marie states that the year of the home is based upon when you moved in. This date may be adjusted if you paint the exterior, refinance with a new lender, etc.
In every other Flying Star information I've read it says that the year the home or building was started is the date that should be used to determine the flying star locations. Some say it's the date the house was completed. But the recurring message is that the year of the building is based on when it was built, not when you moved in. The Diamond Feng Shui material is the only one I've read that contradicts this. Is there a basis for this difference between Diamond Feng Shui and everyone else?
The reason I ask is that I have found that the building date flying stars more accurately represent the energy I see in my house than the date I moved in. When I activated and cured the stars based on the move in date I didn't really notice much difference. I read about using the "built" date 4-5 months later and made changes based on this information. I noticed a change right away, particularly in relation to the confict and abundance areas of my house.
