lol, I actually called Anthony Robbin's company to see if his supporting comment on the back of the photoreading book is genuine. The Marketing head guy was out of office and I didn't get a call back but I think photoreading still does work cuz there's so many websites that support it, I watched every single 'photoreading' related video on youtube and even found a Korean website with a Korean guy saying it works, (I'm Korean) so that greatly reduces my skepticism but I'm still very confused because I am taking every step with good purpose, mindmaps etc, and still have not gotten any noticable results in the past two months. Talked with Patrick (photoreading coach) today and I wanted him to help me activate the book Natural Brilliance but didn't get to it cuz I had other questions. Actually, torrented the course two months ago and already listened to all the tapes before I bought the deluxe course at the discounted price two weeks ago after finally getting the money. I've gone through about five books with the whole mind process (which means including rapid reading) and little to no results. I got out of university (first year) so I can get the money to take one of the seminars, thankfully I found one here in Vancouve so it won't cost me too much now since i don't have to pay for plane ticket and hotel fees. (I was originally planning to attend one in the states) Well, I'm taking a photoreading seminar with Lee Cherry on November 30-Dec 2 so I'm really really hoping that she'll be able to help me out. I'm going to show her my mind maps and hope that she can help me better activate my books. I'm also going to wait until after the seminar to rapid read the Natural Brilliance book and just try the activation techniques of mind mapping and superreading and dipping and skittering so that if I can't activate the book before the seminar, that she will be able to help me since I'm sure she knows the content of the book. Oh yeah, I'm also going to call one of the photoreading coaches again tomorrow to see if they can help me in activating the book Natural Brilliance over the phone, I've already made two mind maps on it so hopefully they can help me in some ways in addition to that. And I think the paraliminals really don't help at all, I've listened to the photoreading activator paraliminal and the memory supercharger cuz they came with the deluxe course but don't help. I wish I could just go to a professional hypnotist, have them hypnotize me into believing that I can successfully activate materials. Well that's what I'm hoping Lee will help me do since she's a NLP practitioner, hopefully she can get me into the right state. And I'm really motivated to getting this right cuz I have a list of about 150 books that I want to read regarding self help (about half of the books left that David DeAngelo recommends that I haven't yet been able to get to) and mind tricks. My goal is to learn nlp and hypnosis for entertainment like that of Derren Brown and the new show Phenomenon. Damn I hope photoreading works, will make life so much easier, lol. Anyways, I'm going back to university next year, but just found out that NLP and Hypnosis degrees aren't offered that widely in Canada, might as well go back to commerce or hopefully get a good degree in economics or something that's useful later on in life. Psychology might be good but not sure how much money I can make off that later on. O yea, one more thing, it's soo annoying how the personal learning course CDs assume that you can successfully activate and then goes on talking about syntopic reading (basically nothing more than reading books on the same topic) and then motivational speaking on how we should photoreading all our college textbooks on the first day of getting them (yea, I tried that, I went to all my classes and desperately tried activating them for the first three weeks before I dropped out after hearing about photoreading). Basically half of the personal learning course feels like common sense just repeated over and over again, no wonder there's so many horrible reviews on amazon.com. Well, I haven't yet finished watching the supercharger DVD so I'll go do that tonight and tomorrow morning. Gotta go to work at Futureshop, hopefully I'll be able to successfully activate materials after my seminar with Lee so that I don't have to waste more money for plane tickets and hotel fees trying out a seminar in the states. Man, I wanna go buy clothes and go PUA peacocking, not pay for plane tickets and hotel (though I think the traveling might be good). O yea, I also think the CD course should be recorded by someone who talks a bit faster and offered in two different settings, cuz Paul Scheele, as much as I respect him for developing Photoreading, speaks waaay too slowly in the CD. I listened to the whole thing at 1.5X speed except for the relaxation parts, and I think more of the CD's content should be spent on logically providing more evidence of how and why photoreading works, and also on not assuming everyone would get the tapes content at once. I totally failed the dictionary game over fifty times (yes fifty, I've spent a lot of time on photoreading since learning of it). Ok, gotta get ready for work tomorrow at Futureshop. I was hoping that if photoreading worked, I'd be able to photoread books on digital and DSLR cameras so that I can really be a good product expert at our store and be able to sell more of them so that I can get more commission, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to successfully photoread, so I'm doomed to manually/conventionally reading through pages and pages of internet websites on them in order to learn. Yea, and I'm kinda behind too now cuz I spent too much time trying to photoread and activate instead of just going and reading them up as I should, lol. My midterm goal is to first of all succesfully learn photoreading. If that goal is met, then I will be able to finish University in two years, get my psychology/commerce degree, go make lots of money, learn all the memory/psychology tricks Derren Brown does, go make 10 Million at Las Vegas doing blackjack using memory tricks, and then work as a hyptonist entertainer, and then work my way up into a TV show, and then create better programs to teach all these memory skills and to be able become a superb photoreading instructor so that I can help others that are in situations like myself at the moment. I have LOTS of motivation to be able to photoread and I had to get out some of my frustration of not being able to successfully activate for two months and having had to quit university for something I'm growing more and more skeptical about. But as much as I'm skeptical, I've seen almost as much evidence that there are people out there who can photoread and do amazing things. I hope you successful photoreaders out there can photoread this blog and have a cordial conversation with me via this photoreading forum. O yea, one more thing. Ten bucks that this is in top ten longest post in the entire forum.
