Hi I am new to the site and have been using paraliminals for a couple of months. A year ago I split from my partner of 14 years and thought that I was ok but since using the paraliminals I have gone to pieces. I cry every day, or howl would be closer to the mark and I am feeling the worse pain that I have ever felt.It is like someone has died. My point is I dont think that the paraliminals should be used to stop feeling pain even though it is hard to endure. I am still listening to the paraliminals and my goal is to allow myself to feel the pain and not repress it. I cant describe how hurt I feel all the time but at least I am feeling how I should after losing my partner and best friend for the last 14 years of my life.

I am sorry you feel this way, but there are two reasons why this is happening to you.

1) The feeling as though you are dying inside or crumbling into pieces is your subconscious cleansing itself. You are shattering the glass and breaking through the walls. This is sometimes known as a "mental detox". At first you will begin to feel weak, you will see the "crap" come out of your body in the most unpredictable ways. The more toxic you are, the more of this you will see. But rest assured, keep doing positive affirmations and you will see the light. You will feel refreshed and feel as though you were born again.

2) Remember the Law of Attraction. What you keep thinking about most will ultimately appear to you. Think of happiness, and you will experience it.

Pelmeni - isn't it surprising how we can tell something that which we know but don't follow our own advice? What you said here is so applicable to you too. As I responded to your earlier message about your fiance - you really need to focus on that which you want.

4al,

Sometimes, it is easy for us to say how we should react and when. If you feel like drowning your feelings of rejection and betrayal then go ahead and fill that bucket. Just promise yourself it will be for only so long and that you are not going to allow a past failed relationship to tarnish your future.

You are allowed to mourn your relationship. In my religion, we mourn people's death for 40 days - then we move on. Set a time frame of getting over this person and then do everything in your power to move on and build a brighter future for yourself.

Trust me - what I write—is from experience. If I had found LOA before 2006, I would not have wasted 14 years of my life getting over someone who was literally a waste of time for me!

Many people grow from relationships (successful and failed ones). My relationship just taught me how to be a slave to my feelings of betrayal. Thanks to LOA today, my life has changed billion times over - for the better! And every time I think, say or write this fact - I feel OVERJOYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I control my life. You will too - just give it time. There is no rush (not yet at least!).

D2C

Remember there is also a trap in wallowing in your pain. If your constantly thinking about your past memories how good they were then all of a sudden your sad. What is that thought that makes you sad? Is it that you never gone to have that again. Your thoughts and emotions could turn into a downward spiral if you stay focused on things you do not want. Try to focus on something that you want to attract in a new mate.

boy that must be so painful. I can imagine what you mean... I think you are right about 'not' using the paraliminals to stop feeling pain of this nature. It's all about it coming out so you can heal. Anyhow, today though in my situation I was holding some painful feelings but I could tell the paraliminals would help alleviate the feelings especially since I had really done a lot of processing around it. But I wanted to tell you that you are really standing tall to deal with all this for your own healing. One other point is that you can always take a break from it, too so you can ease up on all that pain. Even watching TV or playing a game or something else to take your mind off it can lift the feelings.

Take care and keep us posted,

hey there, I know you posted a while back and might not be coming in here now, but was thinking about you. Maybe you should try EFT Emotional Freedom Technique... Dr. Mercola has it on his site. Or maybe Spring Forest Qigong! It seems like an additional healing modality would suit you...

Hope you are doing better,

thanks for the reply. It is now 3 weeks or so since I wrote about how i was feeling and I am now getting through it and starting to see an end to how I was feeling. Its been a very useful time, if painful, and has taught me about what i want in life and has made me have more empathy for other peoples feelings. forty days seems a good time as I still have bad moments but try to use these to tap into how I am feeling and why and then write them down so I can use them with my belief cd.so thanks again for your reply. alan.
