KWLEE or SHAWN, I have a question to ask since you guys appear to have knowledge of this system. The stars predictions for the years seem easy if I am correct; if I am not, please correct me on how the figure the yearly stars chart; given 2008:
2008 2009
SE STAR 9 SE STAR 8
S STAR 5 S STAR 4
SW STAR 7 SW STAR 6
E STAR 8 E STAR 7
C STAR 1 C STAR 9
W STAR 3 W STAR 2
NE STAR 4 NE STAR 3
N STAR 6 N STAR 5
NW STAR 2 NW STAR 1
The numbers are going down a number each year. There has to be a system created to determine the numbers for the stars even the stars others are referring to such as the Power stars - they ALL have numbers - I agree with Mayflower's concern. There should be some type of software to determine this as well so we won't be too dependant on this forum for answers. Understand, people are answering others who are not ALWAYS trained in this area. How dependant should we be upon this information from that type of souce? I have changed my house around at least three times. I need clarity on Time, yearly,and personal direction. If Time always wins, why do we have to do anything else with personal areas, general areas, facets, or yearly stars?

The numbers for the flying star charts are pretty much easily available in books. The names of the stars such as relationship stars and others - there is a pattern to them but they are not always the same numbers.

I don't see that you need to be dependent relative to the stars since they are listed in your manual.

I'll leave this to Shawn because in my experience it is not true that time always wins.

Marie said that time wins if there is a "conflict" with space feng shui. How often is there a conflict? But, that doesn't mean you can't activate your personal directions in your bedroom. I find the diagram of the house and dividing it 9 ways with the directions over it very confusing. I'm still trying to find the Power star. My son is taking architecture in high school so he said he'd draw a scale diagram of the house for me.

Thanks Kaye.Mayflower, congratulations on finding a solution to your floor plan. Are you having a challenge with overlaying a nine sector grid onto your house floor plan? If it doesn't make sense for you when you get your floor plan from your son, mark north on it from the center of the house, add your personal energy numbers (yup the kid's as well), front door facing degrees & period of your home, then send it in and call to set up a consultation. In the home study course you are activating at three levels - personal (your best directions), Space (the 9 directions chart on P.13 of Level One & the 24 facets), and Time (20-year, yearly, monthly, and daily if one so chooses).
As Marie says, Time Feng Shui is more dynamic - it's impact can be seen more quickly than the Space Feng Shui of Level One and Two, but over the long-haul, Space Feng Shui builds and is stronger. It is the foundation you want in place before adding the Time Feng Shui - since living spaces are generally set up for the long term. Staying at a hotel is another matter.
